  3. i had fmf sst's on my 03 slightly built motor, ran good..then switched to a friends pt mids and wow really woke up my bottom end . now have pc's on my stockish motor and really like them too so far.. so my votes would be pc's or pt's.. p.s all i do is trail ride/climb hills
  4. ive got 20 inch gncc's for the dry days.. and 22 inch bear claws for the wet or muddy days.. the bear claws are awesome on my shee imo.. but im also geared for them too

  7. thats what i thought too. i had a set of honda hubs on my 03 shee and they worked just fine..so i bought a set of honda 400ex hubs for my 93 shee and they wont fit.. is there any differences in the axles over the years ?
  8. wondering what i would have to replace or do to install a 95-up style stator vs the older style ? ive heard that all i have to change is the plug on the end.. but im wanting more advice..thanks

  12. quick question.. what year did they change the plug on the stator wires ? turns out i have a 93 instead of a 97..
  13. sprayed pb blaster on it for a couple days..got a new bolt that goes into the center of the flywheel puller.. put puller on and came off with ease..pb blaster is some awesome stuff !!!!

  17. thanks for the info guys.. i have sprayed pb on all bolts of timing plate and around the flywheel..gonna let it sit overnight and add a little heat tomo afternoon..and see what it does..thanks again
  18. yeah i have acces to a welder..actually was thinkin bout modifyin my puller with a stronger bolt and the nut welded in like that..but wasnt 100% sue that would work
  19. i did try a impact for a few seconds( my impact is wore out) so i went back to wrench.. any ideas on best puller ?
  20. im in the process of tryin to remove the flywheel from my 97 shee to put a adj timing plate on...i have done it b4 on my 03 shee and was very easy and took no time.. i bought a brand new motion pro puller from the stealership. in the process of tryin to pull the flywheel, the nut on the puller broke off.. the flywheel looks rusty like its been wet b4. i used a 17 mm wrench on the puller and the flywheel never budged b4 it broke the puller.. so now im asking for suggestions ? im sure i need to buy another puller. whats the best one made ? and any suggestions on how to break the flywheel loose ? the flywheel on my 03 shee never was this tight . im sure the rust isnt helping it any but would a little heat hurt it ? thanks in advance
  21. the 520 is the size of the chain.. the x 100 is the number of links/length of chain.. stock chain size and length is 520x104 if you have stock sprockets

  23. hello guys. 97 shee. was told on stock bore with fresh rings. pro circuit pipes toomey 2 -1 filter 13-41 gearing as far as i know everything esle is stock 120 lbs compression in left cylinder..125 in right cylinder.. my questions are ..1 should i continue to run the toomey 2-1 air filter or get a stock airbox without lid ? 2 the compression is pretty good ? dont know the sea level or jetting at this time but do know its jetted pretty rich by looking at plugs.. i live in central ky and mostly trail ride with some fun hill climbs around here and visit tennessee and southern ky often.. thanks in advance for all the info
