  3. It was measured with calipers and thats the reading I got from the top of the cylinder. They may need to be bored .10-.20 over the grooves arent that deep. I just measured it from the bottom of the bore and it measures 63.95mm

  11. check the tops of your carbs where the throttle cable seats in carb caps. I accidentally pulled the cable out and it was caught up when I was jetting the carb and it did the same thing, revved to the moon.

  14. Looking for a set of 35mm PWK airstriker carbs. In good condition with or without cable. I have to offer to trade a set of 34mm PJ carbs (jets/needles not included) with twist throttle cable, set of stock virgin cylinders that need a bore and hone, dg aluminum grab bar, shaved stock head, paul turner midrange exhaust (rough shape), stock head lights, stock airbox with no lid and pro designs intake kit, a sony psp that was used maybe 4 times with 8 games.   15. I have custom domes for a 4 mil crank with no spacer plate and i mix 83 octane with 100LL av gas which makes it in between. My old setup seemed like it pulled good every direction. Ive raised and lowered the needle position numerous times with no improvement. I did notice the clips looked worn out and the cheap-o needle retainer in those pj carbs didnt look like it was a tight fit, sloppy movement Ive been kicking the idea around on buying 35 PWK carbs for it cause Ive read on here that theyre much easier to tune. Im at sea level and 55-60 degrees. Ive gone with different compression, different stroke, different exhaust, and different port work so I figured the jetting would need some attention. and it appears to be off from my last setup.
  16. Im curious to know which pilot jets you fellas are using for riding at sea level my setup is keihin 34mm PJ carbs. I have 162 main jets, 52 pilot, 1 1/2 turns out on air screw, and the clips in the middle groove. I have fresh pistons in 65mm dune ported cylinders, 4 mil 110 rod crank, custom cut domes from M&M for 93 octane, +4 timing advance, new driveline performance heavy duty clutch, new boyesen reeds, new pro circuit exhaust. Ive leaned the main jets out so far, the pilot jets that were originally in it were size 58. I cant seem to get the bike dialed in right. It doesnt seem to pull very hard. I was half expecting a duneport and 4 mil crank to outperform my old setup which was paul turner national ported cylinders, 64.5mm bore, paul turner midrange pipes, stock stroke, 20cc domes. With that setup I had it richer on the mains and pilots and that thing ripped. Alot harder than the setup Im working with now so I need to work on jetting. Ive leaned the mains out a size, leaned the pilots out. And before I go anymore I wanted to see what you guys recommend. Im not sure which needles I have in there now but I did buy a pair of CEL needles with the intentions of trying them out. Thanks
  17. Ive gone through 2 kill switches in one riding season. They just crap out and not work in engine off position. Ive gotta stall the engine to kill it. What would cause that? A short somewhere or crimped wire is my guess but has anyone had this happen to them? Also bought some trail tech lights without the OEM plugs on the ends and I cant seem to get them to turn on. I thought maybe the light/kill switch on the handlebar went tits up since Ive been having kill switch problems but after putting a different one on there I still couldnt get the lights to turn on. there are black wires only off the lights and green, yellow and black wires coming out of the harness.

  19. Looking for a set of reed spacers, carb bottom is rubbing on clutch arm and would like to see if these help miss it....may be interested in a billet manifold if the price is right also
