So I took my wife and my friend to Mescalero sands in Roswell new Mexico this weekend and surprisingly it wasn't to bad. By no means does it come close to the Oregon dunes that I'm used to but for what they are there not too bad. They are more dune trails then hillclimbs however. But if your in the middle of nowhere like myself then these aren't too bad just thought I would let you guys kno!

i have one more question guys, with this 4 mill setup will i have to run race gas? all we have here is 91 octane in the premium gas. what are the biggest dome sizes i can use and still use pump gas?

so i am gonna send my cylinders in to herr juggs racing for a 4 mill kit he offers that comes with porting. my question is, i have a cool head and i was wondering if you have to shave the head like you would (at least i think you do) on a stock head so it will work with a 4 mill setup?

i know you said youre buying a new one but if for whatever reason that deal falls through a thing i like to check for, besides what has already been mentioned is on the frame where you would rest your boots. if it has a lot of wear you can tell if somebody is being dishonest if they say it has low hours but there is a lot of wear right there. just my 2 cents!

so i have had this problem for awhile but never thought anything of it. my shee starts first kick everytime when it is cold, but as soon as i get going and it gets warm when i go to restart it it doesnt wanna start takes bout 10-15 kicks. is this normal or do you think there is a problem. i have toomey t6 exhaust, k/n pods, no airbox, vforce 3 reeds running 300 mains, needle 3rd clip down, 27.5 pilots and air screw 2 turns out.

i just bought a cool head so i have no use for the stocker anymore. ill take 75 obo shipped for it.

I like to have some nice hills and whatnot which is how the Oregon coast is, I've only been to st Anthony once wish I cud go back but that's like a 5 day drive just to get there. So sand mountain in Utah is worth going to over LS? I'll have to see how mug farther it is cuz LS is only a 6 hour drive

i live in new mexico and it looks like those are some pretty nice dunes for a week long trip this summer. i am from oregon so im used to the coos bay area sand dunes, ive also been to st anthony in idaho. how does little sahara compare to the oregon coast/st anthony?

yea i planned on goin with herrjuggs with the dune play port and the 4 mill kit when i get my tax return his stuff looked the most economical and ive never heard anything bad bout him

ok thanks dirty thats what i was wondering. i know you have to have a bigger engine for it to make a difference but i was thinking about putting a 4mil dune/play ported engine on it? would the stockers be good for that?

so i dont know if this is a stupid question or not but i have been researching bigger carbs lately and it came i thought i read something somewhere that said that the bigger carbs require bigger air cleaners. not the air cleaner itself but where the pod goes into the carb. is that true or can i use the same pods i have on my stockers on say a 35mm keihin pwk?

i have a set of toomey t6 pipes and silencers that are chrome. i am selling to get a set of cpi small bore in frames. they are in good shape and i can get some pics up tommorow after i get off work. i want 400 for them. thanks for the interest!

yea i know you cant mix dexcool with any other coolant, i made that mistake when i first became a mechanic.. boy that was a bad day haha. thanks for all the help guys!
