I would send the motor to one of the sponsors, I had FAST racing do mine, for $3000 he will build you a killer motor.

you have to pull the axle out of the bearings to take off the brake hub. it is splined just like the sprocket hub.

I run K&N with outerwears, both are good filters.

my Fast racing ported 4mil had no top end with the fatty's I put some R2 pipes on it and re jettet and it is a monster now. amsoil dominator oil mixed 50 to1 is what I use, with great results.

Kevin can cut your domes for the 4mil and pump gas. you should be able to run stock carbs for now, and get carbs later, if you do 110 rod 4mil crank you can use the pistons you have now.

just get a new gasket and be safe. what kind of trans oil do you have?

that sounds high priced for a carb clean to me. get a clymers manual and learn. jeff at fast racing has a great clutch for around $80 jlsparky proly has a youtube vid on clutch replacement, he has a lot of diy vids

there are several campgrounds near by, google search silverlake mi campgrounds. the state campground is the cheapest place to stay and nice.

and the slides pealing and sticking, lots of problems on the blaster forum with them, but they are cheap so guys keep using them. I would get a set of stock carbs bored out to 30mm -

chill out dude! he just wasn't happy with the way they turned out, so he's getting new carbs. thats a good up grade any way. -

if the bearing made noise in your hand it needs replaced! they should warranty it. strait cut gears will sound different than stock.
