  1. Had a blast guys and thanks Tyler for setting up this trip! had a few issues with the bike i could never really figure out, but had a blast regardless.
  2. i will just put this here so most of you can identify me this weekend on the strip..........
  3. yep. i think i ordered a sprocket for a 03 400 ex if i remember right....

  5. lean=heat and lack of coolant, or coolant flow=heat. you have already taken it apart, so i would just go ahead and rebuild it. when you get it back together do a leakdown and check the water impeller. if it's a stock plastic impeller it may be in several pieces depending how old the bike is.
  6. i could probably sell you one cheaper than you can fix that one. stock crank right?

you might want to include some details.... height, what they will be used for etc.
  8. if you think the maintenance of a 4 stroke is any less than a 2 stroke you are sadly mistaken. a 4stroke is just a little more dumbass proof. most of the guys around here get 5-8 years out of a engine on their banshee, light modded bikes. you show me a yfz that made it that long and i will show you a bike that sat in the garage and was never ridden.
  9. make damn sure you check the condition of the water pump before you put it back together and destroy the new build.

looking to spend 30-40 for all of it? i have the tank and pegs, but there is shipping and that alone would run 20-30 bucks.
  15. that looks more like you overheated it, or not enough oil. also you realize stock cylinders have steel sleeves in them right? why do you say they are re sleeved? if done right there is nothing wrong with a re sleeved cylinder.
  16. nothing new really. shee's been hurting feelings on asphalt for a long time now.
  17. +4 timing 91 octane and tons of heat can easily cause detonation.
  18. detonation is what backed your spark plug out. too much timing, or not enough octane.
  19. why not just go meth? it's cheaper per gallon than e85 and there is still yet more gains. and yes 30% will be a good starting point. both mains and pilot. imo you still need to go with a powerjet setup for easier tuning for temp, elevation etc. changes.

  21. i have been too lol but i am about over it. i might just roll it out of the trailer and roll it back in on sunday.
  22. yeah i said some shit that might have been hurtfull and yeah i might should have just let it go, but it the truth and sick can either get over it and get along. i will be there to ride and have fun and if he feels like taking it to another lvl and risking our weekend than he needs to pm me so we can either take care of it before, or after our weekend. sick if you don't know by now (after a weekend of hanging out) that i like to bs and joke then you need to open your eyes. i already told you it was cool after you said sorry and i shouldn't have said what i said in the shoutbox. this is my apology in hopes that we can get along at least for this coming weekend. your move....
  23. to the weld it up comment....... NO my co workers and boss said the same thing and i will tell you the same. for 100 buck for a new one through LKQ you can kiss my ass. my family and i depend on a safe ride. yes we have the tig and yes my boss is a good tig welder, but no... the valve core was pulled immediately and the tire was removed so that there would be no chance it would make it on a truck. i was told it was from a tire tech (fancy word for young punk ass kid at a tire shop) seated the bead without using soapy water and way to much air pressure. the tires were installed right before i got the truck...maybe 100 miles before. i noticed what looked like a strip of tar on my wheel when i got it, but turns out i may need glasses...
  24. how about some pic's? mainly of the clutch cover....
  25. i use trans gel
