  9. lol yeah you might wanna go the ported stocker route then. no need to die just yet.
  10. bust out the wallet man! there is two ways to go about it. the long slow expensive way and a lot of wasted time and parts, or just the expensive way and have all the smiles at once. not saying these builders can't make a stock cylinder haul, just saying eventually most guys go with aftermarket cylinders.
  11. some guys are worth the wait, but if waiting is not a option call a builder and order stock stroke/bore cub cylinders and be done. it won't stop there though so why not just go big?
  12. from texas/surrounding areas.
  13. yeah 280's are too rich for 3,700
  14. better to look like a bananna than to get beat by one is what i always say...
  15. too bad it is rigid. clean little bike.
  16. it's just how it works. you have more metal and the water on the clutch side to absorb/transfer the heat. then again it is alky that really shows the difference and would be lean. i wasn't thinking about a gas bike in my original post and it would have the opposite effect on a gas bike. the left side would run richer than the right. alky+heat=lean gas+heat=rich
  17. they could if they had a casting plant in their back yard and had money to start. it comes down to supply and demand. there was only room for so many aftermarket cylinders. from what i hear the banshee world isn't doing so well as far as cash flow. why would someone at this point in the game dump 100-500k in development when there is not a demand for it? calvin has the cast cylinders pretty much wrapped up. he produces cylinders that will outflow stock cases, exceed stress that they will handle etc. yes you can buy billet cases and keep climbing the ladder, but he also has cylinders that will still out flow those. see where i'm going with this? no real point to duplicate what is already out there. most builders can only get 10-15hp out of a cp cylinder after getting it from him and some even show up that can't be improved. the stars just happen to line up lol not knocking billet cylinders, but bang for buck (tight-wad economy) calvin has what little market that is left wrapped up.
  18. volume
  19. The creator of the above motivational poster sucks at life. Everybody loses (their) minds. stator side of the engine will always run leaner than the clutch side. if this is the side that is lean than just bump the jetting up on that side.
  20. holycraptonoffuel batman. why not just drill some? figure as big into this sport as you're you would have some jet bits....
  21. here we go with this again.... as i rider i have neer ridden a stock ported cylinder that had the low end power (easy to ride) power like the serval i had... then again i did go with the 472 super serval wampus lol
