  1. lol i never left. i just hang out in the shoutbox late at night. don't post much anymore.
  2. i wouldnt say so. typically one cylinder will need more fuel than the other. i always get the bike up to temp make a few hard passes and pull them. within 3 passes if "close" you should be able to see a 10 and 3 burn ring and a mid arch timing purple band. i was always 1-2 full turns further out on typically the stator side. it burns hotter for some reason. if there is no real reason to get all the power you can i normally started rich and leaned it down until it started making decent power and left it rich. lot easier on parts.
  3. one is way lean and the other is way rich. you never rattled the dark one out?
  4. master cylinder body and shift shaft bolt still available.
  5. sponsors, ebay, bikebandit, etc.
  6. talk to "dirtydownunder" he could probably give you some advice
  7. i always suggest that a master is rebuilt. i have done hundreds of swaps with only a handful of issues (using old parts). typically the cup was tired before the swap was made if you have issues it's just a body and nothing that i know of could cause one to not work. however in the event something is wrong with a core i have polished mechanically i will swap it out.
  8. i will send this one out first and you just need to send the core back once you get it.
  9. lets not make it anymore complicated for the not so fast green.
  10. can i have my 3 clues i lost from reading this entire post back? someone tell brad to man up. what is his cost on a good crank and good cases? $350 bucks?
  11. please watch the last video again. it pulled the crank into the pto/clutch side. idk why everyone is mentioning the stator side... it did exactly what it should have done without a clip.... pulled the entire crank over.
  12. i have read through the comments, seen the pic's and watched the video's. there was never a clip. aluminum grinding down a weld is absolutely possible. i have used a upper and lower clip in every motor i have ever built. overkill? yeah probably, but why pull more on one side (bottom) than the other? anyone that thinks this is fishy is crazy. clear cut... tyson got side tracked and simply forgot the clip. to me this falls under workmanship and should replace any and everything affected.
  13. if you truly handed him the motor and had him do the work, the smart thing would have been to take pic's as you tore it down to show there was no retainer. box it up send it back to him and had him make it right. yes there is no warranty against parts failure, but every good builder will warranty against workmanship. hopefully you contacted him before making this thread...
  14. it would work just a tiny bit better than jacking off with a hand full of thorns.
  15. i have a brand new one $10 shipped if you need one. it's to get the shifter center on the shift drum.
  16. i can do smooth, grooved, stock etc. most everyone knows i polish. i just don't/can't advertise because it becomes overwhelming.
  17. just let me know. if it's the master you're wanting i can always do another one if this one sells.
