Kool how can I find out if it is aftermarket crank or stock? I assumed it was stock because it didn't say HotRods or Wiseco. I got it off Ebay for $120 shipped. Dude wanted buy it now $250 and I was only one that bid. Trued and welded. Pretty good deal a? So on the outer bearings the clips hold the bearing inline with the case by lining up grooves? Is it kool to reuse the clips? Thx I appreciate the info. Mike.

I just got a trued and welded crank off ebay. Got a great deal on it. Stock stroke, stock crank. I just noticed that the bearings don't have the notches sticking out of them like the factory ones do? Does this matter?

Put me 2nd if deal falls through. Pics be nice.

I just got a good deal on a crank that is tured and welded and ready to drop in for $120 shipped off Ebay. I am going to start gathering parts as I hope to start reassembly soon. I am gonna be needing a stock stroke crank that is preferably trued and welded and needs nothing except me to drop it in. Let me know what you have and how much along with pics would be great. Thx. Mike

When I just took my Shee apart after getting it from previous owner who didn't know much about it I discovered 18cc domes and +10 timing. Noone ever mentioned high octane either. Glad I tore it apart because I had been running 93 in it and I guess it helped it needs rings and the compression was down. So what gives, why would this be setup this way?

So there's a good chance it just needs trued and welded? If i'm gonna spend a crapload to rebuild it i'd rather buy an aftermarket 1. Any input on some ot the cranks I see on ebay from MotorCityATV. See alot of stock cranks that are low hours and ready to run condition, needs no bearings or nothing.

Any cranks that need nothing that are perfect? Trued and welded maybe too? Stock no strokers.

Can you just install a stroker crank w\out long rods and not change anything? Say i'm at 65.5 right now and add a 4 mil crank only (if possible) what is my cc? I have read about spacer plates and such. Is that only for long rods? And with a long rod you have to change pistons correct?

Hmmmmm, might just have it rebuilt then. When you buy a stroker crank what all needs to be changed? If I have to do much changing I just stick w/ stock.

That's what I was afraid of. Separating? What are the Banshee cranks like a 2 piece design that everything is pressed together? I planned on doing new bearings and seals anyways. So this was a timebomb and good thing I took it apart a?

Is this too much side to side play for the rod? What causes this and where do I go from here?
