  1. If you push the kicer down by hand till it becomes tight, release it just a touch and press down again, yes it will go clear to the bottom.. Thats is normal.. Once you take the kicker out and see how the mechanisim works you will see how it retracts and then grabs again.. If you never started the motor, and simply poured oil down the cylds and into the cases, and then did the worst thing of all and set it on a concrete floor, Im gonna guess that it is rusted solid.. Im not 100% sure where you live, but in most climates more often than not that oiling is not going to be an accebtable way of preventing to corosion.. It VERY unlikely that the oil that you dumped in it reached anything more than a small percentage off where it needed to go, and with the condensation and evaporation of moisture in the motor it has more than likely washed away nearly anything that made it to where you wanted it to go.. Did you EVER roll the motor through before you stored it? I would start with the easy things and work from there.. However Id bet that by the time your done, you may have to buy a part or three to get it back up to spec.. Let us know what you find... Could be a good lesson to be learned by many!!

  13. Ok here it is.. Bike was litealy built from ground up by redline. A new frame was purchased through a local yamaha dealer and all parts were bought new to assemble the build. This didnt start off as a complete bike, it was literaly built from scratch.. 7mil cub that was decked to a 4 to move the port timings down to a serval spec. This was built before the servals were available, but has all the same dimensions that the serval has.. 4 mil crank, lockup with cover, VF3s, polished 38 pwk's on gas, K&Ns with outerwears, cool head, case saver, 3 piece billet statot cover, billet kicker, T-5's with Cascade silencers ETC... Nothing was shorted.. Has WORKS tripple rates in front, WORKS ultracross in the rear, polished link, +6 chrome SLC ladder swing arm, Lonestar axle, +3 chrome plated A-arms, fluidyne radiator, front mohawks, 22-11-8 12 pdl extrs with kevlar in the rear, trail tech bars, anti vibe stem, all braided lines, aulm front and rear bumpers, most every small billet parts you can think of. The entire theme of he bike is blue and purple, frame is purple on top that fades to blue, lots of accents all over the bike.. This is a VERY nice bike, that has a smooth, clean, fun powerband. Made 80hp @8800 and 50ft lbs from 7000-9000rpm. Any questions just ask... This is a top quality build that will make someone a KILLER dune/trail bike.. 5400 complete bike. I will part this out, but I will need to have the motor sold first before I part it.. 3,000 complete motor, pipes, carbs ready to run...
  14. I have a 4 cub/serval for sale... COMPLETE pipes carbs ignition etc... ready to run. 80hp 50ft trq.

  15. if its getting hot to the point that you cant touch the cylds after one pass then you need to put more fuel in it.. If you are hot lapping it, and its getting hot after a few back to back passes than thats a bit more understandable.. Id bet you will be fine though.. Theres alot of volume in a stock radiator..
  16. one thing that you need to remember, be sure you have a chian on the bike, and be PREPARRED to have it run away and know what to do if it does.. If its too lean on the idle circuit, it will infact run away and you need to be prepared for that if it does.. Ive seen this happen more than once..
  17. 20:1 is what we run.. NO difference on the dyno, and helps against corrosion.. This will actually cause the bike to run richer than say 32:1 or 40:1... At one time we ran 100:1, but you had to purge every night..
  18. Yeah theres a guy out there thats doing it too... He did all the CF on scotts "shark" bike... it turned out really nice..
  19. no, there is a place here locally thats doing it for us.. You can use any color combo you cn think of. The weave color doesnt have to be black, it can be something else.
