  1. Sold... send me your papal info. Thanks.
  2. Snop a few things you need to remember here.. First off, most people on this site, or in this sport for that matter dont know or understand what the eddy current brake is or what it does nor do they give a fuck.. If you thought for a second that people were going to warm up to your test with the numbers looking that low then your nuts.. Second off there may be some missunderstanding because most dyno graphs that people are going to see have engine RPM on the bottom of the graph and not MPH like all your "loaded" graphs do.. All of this is fine and dandy, I dont think you wee trying to show "look how much mine makes" or "hey look this setup is the best" as much as you are trying to show what the on dyno experience shows for a couple different pipe setups. With that being said, on your unloaded graph your HP looks close, but your tourqe looks low. My decked 7 (now a 4) cub which is more or less a serval made just over 80hp @ 8800 and just over 50ftlbs from 7000-9000 as I remember. This was on a "traditional" dynojet dyno with T-5s and 35PWKs.. In my opinion this is not nor would it ever be the ideal setup for this motor, its just the way it was setup at that time..
  3. how bad is the bore? will 65.50 be far enough or do the need to go farther?
  4. clean your glasses, open your brain, and get your notepad out.. I have built several snomo bike. I will not build it for you over the net but I will get you headed in right dirrection. Your cat jackshaft will work, its 1" eventually you will need to have it cut and keyed but you will have to figure that out on your own.The Jackshaft bearing mounts come from MFGSUPPLY, the shaft psrockets come from MCMASTERCARR they are ANSI 50 with 1/4 key. The rear sprocket can come from sprocket specialties. You can run a 520 rear with and ANSI 50 chain they are the same roll. You HAVE TO HAVE AN OFFSET TOOL FOR THIS TO WORK. you can use 10 or 12 centers from crank to shaft. 12" uses polaris 3211042 belt or similar, the 10 will use a Yamaha belt (I forget the number off my head, they have used it since 87 or earlie) Mount the shaftplates as far back in the chassis as you can, and MAKE SURE THEY ARE SQUARE TO THE AXLE!!! watch your chian clearnace to be sure its not going to hit anything. Then mount the motor so that it is square with BOTH and the proper distance apart 10/12... With these work, yep.. are they a pain in the ass yep... Heres a couple I have done
  5. Yeah Trinity sucks, but you will be ok.. Its actaully pretty hard to screw up a cub.. I dont think they can mess it up bad enough to the point that you wont like it. I would do something different with the domes than what they are probably going to send you, but overall you will be ok. If you do end up canceling Ive got a nice 4 cub/serval thats fresh I am looking to sell.
  6. You should have just used the standard JB Weld if you were gonna let it sit over night. If you are hell bent on grinding it out and having the hole welded, either pull the motor out of the bike, pull the stator and have it welded, or leave it in the bike, and pull the stator/cdi/coil from the bike.. A welder will WRECK any and all electrical stuff on a bike if its given the chance. Wont do it everytime, but dont give it a chance. If it were me, Id grind that JB Quick out of it, put the real stuff in and let it sit for awhile and then run it.
  7. Can you post a few more pictures of the welds themselves? It damn near looks mig welded from the one picture. Id be curious to know if they are or not.. As far as fixing the problem, Id cram that fucker up someones ass!! There is no reason that those things shouldnt be drop in ready out of the box. SOMETIMES a RO check can be done, but if it is packaged properly, there is no need for it.
  8. If its for drag only, I would go with OOF... I would try to use same side however that way its easy to get on and off the bike..
  9. Thanks for the timing plate..Not only is it NOT a pro design, its JUNK...
  10. You say its a duner, but you ride for just a minute and then head straight to the drags, so this is more of a hillshooter type drag bike? That will make a big diffrence in cyld choice.
  11. Ill give you 185
  12. Theres going to be pros and cons for all of it.. As for the crank from TSS.. Waste.. Any of the site sponsors will get you setup with a crank that is just fine for your application without breaking the bank. One thing to remember is that the more parts you use from the guy building the motor, more often then not the better off you are.. If you give your builder a crank that is not his and it goes to shit the first weekend and wrecks a bunch of parts, whos gonna be on the hook to fix it and take care of it? Crank guy? Nope, hes gonna tell you the builder. Builders fault? Nope, hes gonna tell you to talk to the crank guy. Its a visious cycle, but its in your best intrest to use what the builder recomends and will stand behind. As far a the serval/stocker setup is concerned the serval is going to make some more power in different places than a good worked up stock cyld 4 mill. Some will depend on how far you wanna go.. Honestly if this is your first go around I woulndt be affraid to do the 4 stock cyld. You will see heads and tails diffrence from your existing setup, will have good rideability, and you will leave weekend after weekend with a smile on your face. And after that has become "not enough" (it will come to that) then at that point a step up to a serval would be an easy and fairly inexpensive jump.. Either way, welcome to the addiction. Kiss the savings acct goodbye cause its all down hill from here.. And also, Id like to thank you for being a school teacher!! You guys are the most underpaid people on this planet.
  13. UMMMMMM.........WTF........... http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/mcy/2258241229.html I inquired about this bike. Here was what I got in an E-mail... Something is weird here! Hello, Sorry it has taken so long to get back in touch with you. First of all let me say that the Yamaha Banshee 350 Twin is in excellent condition, it has never been crashed or rolled. I don't want to get rich by it's selling, just want to give it to someone who will take good care of it. I'm an US Air Force MSgt. currently stationed in Little Rock Air Force Base, AR and the quad is here with me, I can have it shipped from here by an US Air Force cargo plane so there won't be any shipping costs for you. Also I can arrange for a truck to transport it to your home address or you can pick it up from the nearest airport in your area. The shipping takes around 48 hours, depending on your location. If you are interested in purchasing the quad contact me back so I can provide you with more information. The quad has 11 hours, year 2003, Manual Transmission, 350 cc Engine. MSgt. Billy Waters PS. Sorry for the long email I've tried to touch all bases
  14. JJ&A twin row, is near perfect, just dirty in pictures. Has all hardware with it.. Will fit stock axle or aftermarket 35mm axle. 90 shipped..
  15. Do you own a test light? If not, buy one.. You can figure this one out all on your own I bet!!
  16. I havent been on this site for too long, but Ive been in the banshee world for quite some time.. And each one of these previous posts have merit to them. Case in point, is that right now there is another "what oil for my pre mix" that was just recently started. Ive personally sceen that exact question asked and answered a ton of times in just my short time on here.. Or the "what oi in my tranny" and so on. I havent messed with the search tab much, but many of the questions can be answered in many more places than just here.. Many of the basic questions are not secrets and the answers can be found on many places with just a bit of leg work.. If people wold educate themselves a little bit before asking questions, and then ask intelegent questions that include what their setup is, what the symptoms are, and what they are trying to accomplish I as well as other I think would be much more into helping out.. But the simple "my bike runs like shit whats wrong" is annoying. It takes 4-5 replies just to get the information from them that is needed before you can even begin to help them with the problem.. EVERYONE has questions at some point, that is one way that we learn. But the quality of the content in the question will make or break the quality or quantity of the answers.
  17. WTF have you got for your 60k???? Id REALLY like to see.. Quit bashing M&M they are a top notch shop..
  18. slow down.. I can barely make out your issue here. What did the tap smash into? Are you using the right size tap for the idle screws?
  19. although its trinity stuff, this is actually pretty cool OLD SCHOOL stuff here.. These can and will make power in the right hands, all the time remaining a very stock look!!
  20. THE ONLY THING I HAVE LEFT IS THE CARRIER 75shipped, AND THE TWIST THROTTLE 25shipped... I have a couple other bikes, and a pile of other parts to follow this one.
  21. This stuff is the best of the best.. Both of these parts are brand new.. Cover is fresh from PC, and lockup is brand new never installed. You cant beat this for the price!!
