  9. Parts through builders are not much more than ebay. In fact, often a builders price is better. But people are too fucking dumb and un-social and lazy to pick up the fucking phone and call.
  10. I should have maybe stated that as a well "sorted" motor. Its really hard to run the huge motors (4cylds, big triples, huge twins) with a "odd setup" and see any legitemate gains, or losses if the bike is still in its infancy and not having a good grasp on "what" it should be doing. When Mattoon had his 4 cyld setup with the time loc he was battling other issues at the same time as trying to figure out other things. IMO its FAR easier to try new setups on a bike that is well sorted and it will "normally" make multiple passes without worry of wrecking thousands in parts. I know Arlo messed with the time loc on his scimi and said he thought it worked but he also didnt run it for too long. Tim has messed with the time loc more than most Id guess at this point and if you were going to fish for info hes probably the one you would want to hound for info. I didnt like it because of all the bleeding and bs you need to do after you change the "jet" each time, and the clutch cover to run it is kinda goofy. Does it work? Im sure it does. The DD style would be fun to play with. Different spring sizes, lengths, etc. The more I think about it, I think the one I was playing with had springs that went from arm to arm, but I cant remember for sure.
  11. For any and all of you tards that wanna biatch about the prices of these things need to click the red arrow in the upper right corner of your screen. These are hands down the BEST defense for your motor in the event of a chain failure. Im sure Josh will elaborate, but when he first started messing with these it was to save 2500 dollar trannys from getting wrecked when the chains were breaking nearly every pass. Since then it has been realized that these are not only a tranny saver, but a case saver as well. Ive met Josh multiple times, and not only are his products HAND CRAFTED IN THE USA, hes also a pretty damn nice guy. Good to see you over here brotha! When you get some time you should post a few pics from over the years of all your bikes and delrin parts you've done. Some here will really enjoy the true craftsmanship behind it.
  12. Not theirs directly, but I believe braveandcrazy (Brad) on here built, or bought on similar to that a few years back that I played with and messed with in Gilbert awhile back. If it wasnt him then I forget but regardless, there was some issues with springs coming off of the one we were facking with. BUT if that issue could be resolved I think its a simplistic option that might be good for the small motor stuff.
  13. Tricked I think Tedder was looking to sell one of his multi stage units. Might fire him a PM. That being said, Ive spent some time with the time loc. (CP makes it) and its an interesting adventure for sure.
