  1. Mr. Bling carries them new for $240 to your door.
  2. It really is worth the money to buy a spring puller, I also had to space my hangers to clear my shearers.
  3. Couldn't be happier with mine, Jeff does awesome work?
  4. My link This is for assembly but it is a great walk through
  5. You will want to take the engine out of the bike.
  6. Just got my carbs back from Mr. Bling, and couldn't be happier! Great price as well!
  7. It costs thousands to get set up to make them properly.
  8. I usually start with a 220 and work my way down, just make sure you don't remove too much material with the heavy grit papers. Once you get to 800 - 1000 start using buffing compound and pad. There are also different types of compounds. Start with a cutting compound for paint and then a polishing compound.
  9. You can sand and buff plastics just like paint. Its a slow process but you can make them look like new.
  10. If your cover is in good shape, Ceet sells new foam for like $65. Even if you got a new seat cover to go with your foam, I would assume that would be cheaper than an OEM seat.
  11. You might want to post some more pictures to show off the detail in the paint. Ive seen a couple of close up pics of this hood and it is killer. Good Luck!
  12. Ive got one with bent tie rod mounts, send me a pm and we can work out the details. Brad
  13. I've done business with JD both personally and professionally, and would not hesitate to do so in the future. All of his fabricated parts are flawless, and his used parts were delivered as described in a timely manner. He is a stand up guy all the way around, and is very easy to work with. Thanks JD! 14. Sounds like you need to play with gearing. A lot of drag racers, myself included have multiple sets of sprockets on hand so they can be swapped according to track conditions.
  15. I have broken several chains and haven't had any trouble with the billet ones. I was running the plastic one that is the same style as the billet one when it broke my cases. I haven't tried the fancy TM saver because of the cost. I think that horsepower may be a factor as well, at some point you are going to break cases regardless. Also I have multiple billet savers that I switch out for different sprocket sizes, if you have too much space or worn rollers the chain will bind up inside the saver instead of falling out on the ground.
  16. I switched from billet to plastic because I heard that the plastic ones absorb the energy....I have since switched back to billet, I broke a chain which broke the plastic saver which broke my cases. I have never had that trouble with the billet ones.
  17. Just as said above, If its strictly a drag bike you will have no problems, if not you will need to create some air flow.
  18. I don't run front brakes on drag bikes or dune bikes. You drop a lot of weight, have less drag and rotating mass and clean up the handle bars.
