  1. Alot of the lower price a arms use moog tie rod ends from a mazda truck for the ball joints that have the wrong taper for a yamaha spindle.
  2. This is a pretty good write up on how to install the idle screws. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=135591

  4. Looks good. Love the old school look
  5. Its an old One Industries kit thats not made anymore. Got it from someone that used to sell parts on here.
  6. A pic of mine.
  7. Good lookin truck. That 460 is a thirsty engine. Sell it quick before it eats you out of house and home!
  8. The pilot jet in the carb on the cylinder that dies out is probably plugged up. You will need to clean it with a small strand of stiff wire and some carb cleaner.
  9. A plugged up pilot jet will not allow any fuel to reach the cylinder until you open the throttle enough to open the main jet. I would try a new sparkplug first and then open up the carb and clean it.
  10. Me and my bunch have been a few times and it is a great place to ride.We stayed a week both times and rode different trails every day. Little Coal River is the easiest and the best for beginers. Bearwallow and Rock House are pretty rough. I would steer clear of the black trails on those two trail systems unless you are riding a 4x4. Buffulo Mtn. was a lot of fun, lots of underground coal fires and old tunnels to look at. I hear that Pinnicle Creek and Indian Ridge are the most sport bike friendly but I have not had a chance to ride those yet. If you have a big trailer be ready for extremely narrow roads and tight curves. If you plan to ride a banshee there bring any parts you think you might need with you because the local dealers only carry parts for utilty quads.
  11. I have had one on my 660 raptor for several years now and have not had any trouble. The exhaust will melt the stock plastic line and I would recomend upgrading to the braided line from the start.
  12. I have used Scott 87 and the Oakley L frame goggles and have not had any trouble with either letting dust in. The Oakleys have a lot better foam than the Scotts and seem to last longer. Let us know how the Provens work if you buy a pair.
  13. Yea it looks like the seller has some issues- bad feedback and no return policy. Thanks for the reply.
  14. Just saw these on ebay and was wondering if anyone has these or know anything about them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160400626152&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  15. I have t6 pipes on the banshee I have now and I had another banshee a while back that had fmf sst pipes. They were fairly close as far as power goes but the toomeys look better and sound 10 times better in my opinion. To run the t6 pipes you don't have to remove the coolant resevoir or use the airbox vents, they are so little I didn't even bother using them. Since you have the silencers for the fmfs I would just try to get some used sst pipes somewhere, I don't think you will be disapointed because they were a good all around pipe.
  16. Please send a pic of your best set to [email protected]
  17. Wanting to buy blue tank and radiator plastic, must be in good shape with no cracks or breaks.
  18. I would say you had too much piston clearance and that let it rattle around till it broke the skirt off. You will need to split the cases to make sure you recover all of the broken piston .
  19. If you dont ride on tight trails I would get the plus 3 arms. Same price and you get a little more stability.
  20. I would check your carbs, sounds like your pilot jets may be plugged up.
  21. Fill the resevoir with brake fluid and pump the brake pedal, hold the pedal down and loosen the bleed screw on the caliper. Brake fluid and air should come out of the screw, while still holding the pedal down tighten the screw. Repeat the steps until the pedal becomes firm and dont let the resevoir run out of fluid or you will have to start over.
  22. You dont have to remove the brake line to change the pads, just push the caliper piston back and put the pads on. Your going to have to bleed the brakes to get your brakes to work now.

You mentioned a suspension kit from alba in your post, the last time I was on there site they did not show a shock and a arm kit for the banshee. Has anybody dealt with alba since they have changed ownership of the website?
