So I have to split my cases to clean the powdered piston from the crank bearings. Also been having problems shifting into 2nd under load, so Im going to replace the shift forks while its apart. I have the modded shift star but remember someone talking about a modded shift shaft. whats this all about? I'm sure it been gone over, but i'm an idiot and cant use the search. The last time I was in there i noticed the hole in the case that the shaft goes in was stretched out, (insert joke here), causing some slop. Anyone heard of drilling out each end of the hole and tapping in a brass bushing? Thanks, Zack

mine does the same thing in tree shots. i found sand being packed between the sprocket and chain causing it to skip. id bet thats what you got going on.

Kind of new to the area and dont know many places to trail/woods ride. I have some family up for x-mas and they want to go out and tear up my bikes, but I have no idea where to go. I know of jones creek, but thats closed for winter. Theres brown camp, little too far. Someone told me about a place in Longview, but they charge $25 per bike. Anyone have any good spots? I paid $1000 for my 93. Have about 1400 into it and its "race ready". My son out grew his blaster and wants a banshee and I cant seem to find another deal like that. Even put the blaster (03) on CL to trade and add cash. Had a few emails from people wanting it plus $3000 for thier Shee.
