  2. NoI one told me to buy it that was auto correct on my phone lol and my fault fir bot proof reading. It was the local shop that was telling me about it
  3. I was just going buy what i was told and I figured I would share the info
  4. In the local bike shop today picking up some new jets, and they were telling about these new Carbs called smart Carbs. No jets, adjusts its self no tuning needed. Supposedly its suppose to better than fuel injection they said. Any one else heard these or ran these on their Banshee? http://www.powerapt.com/smartcarb.php
  5. The mods first: stock bore, stock stroke, mild port, VF2 reeds, K&N pods, T-5 pipes, cool head 21cc domes, needle on middle notch and seal level. This is all new rebuild and i have down a leakdown with passing results and check for air leaks while i have it running. I have messed with the jets and needle and all the rest, countless times going up on the needle down on the needle up on jets and down on jets and nothing seems to work. The problem is at idle after idle it runs great. It will only fire off when the choke is pulled hot or cold. will not fire and idle with the choke off just kinda sputter out. it only runs for about five seconds without choke and dies. so i fire it up with the choke pulled up idle a bit higher than idle and runs fine besides the high idle. turn the choke off and it instantly starts to bog down and sputter out and die. if i am fast enough i can kill the choke and run the throttle and hold the idle high enough to keep it from bogging out. Every time I pull the plugs they are black and soaked but always spark. So what i am missing here, where should i look what needs adjusting.
  6. Alright im runnin some new 28mm and i was wonderin what jetting should be close for set up so i can get the some jets. Im runnin new mild port 64mm stock style cylinders, with K&N Pods, with T-5 pipes and runnin about sea level. also stock stroke. 21cc domes VF2 Reeds The Jets currently are 160 mains and i believe 45 pilots. I dunno what the needle is so im assuming its whatever came with the carbs new. Thanks for any reply's and help.

  11. You have any intake manifolds for these and whats the jet sizes and any extra jets?
  12. I have them on my shee and they seem to work fine for me.... i was also more for the look.... i have ran the black ones too and they work just fine aswell

I know when i did the brakes on my shee they were a pain, but maybe your master is going. with the bleeder open there is no pressure so the master can pump it out, but with the bleeder closed there is presure and when you push the brake lever down the fluid just passes by the orings in the master or somethin like that.

  16. I have a Holley 850 Dp with summit racing dual fuel line with fuel pressure gauge. The carb works fine it is still on the truck and can be started for a video to see it work. The carb is to much fuel for my setup for just drivin around town. thats reason for getting rid i have no need for it. I am asking $200 for it the price is negotiable. I have more picss as well upon request. I also have Holley mechanical fuel pump for a big block ford 110 GPH barely used and then went electric i can through in for $30.

  21. I got set of 35mm PWK's, Intakes with intake spacers, cable and caps, K&N pods 4 inch. Asking $375 for the whole setup trying not seperate.
  22. Ok this may be possible but as crazy as it sounds but it is possible with two stroke engines and it being a reed valve engine it can actullaly be running backwards. Some two stroke engines will run backward for very little time with little load to them. that would be giving the extreme hard kickback and it running in reverse. I have no idea if this right it just somethin i knew that some two stroke can do. If it is doing what i'm saying i have no idea how to fix it.
  23. i've used sos pads for years on chrome new and old works well. I was taught to go back and forth with the sos pads not in circles or you will leave the swirls and then a quick hand polish always helps after being done.
  24. If you can't find a fuel line clamp to keep your fuel from leaking at the points of connections i am assuming your fuel line is to large or something. how tight does your fule line fit. I know on mine it fits real snug and i just use a spring band hose clamp to hold it on.
