Jay hawk after thinking it about it some, airing up may cause it to dig more ! airing down would let it float on top , its a fine line, all you can do is keep trying diff pressures ... yep I would start at 3.5 -3.0 with those tires .
Jayhawk in that situation I would try to air up a little , make the tire harder and spin easier . but then again that depends on the type of tire you running ! just my opinon
My son racing spitali* racing in the pro index 3 finals. we are in the near lane and win the race .

Jumping in to 1st sure sounds like a spring deal , how old is your clutch ? is it a good one ? do you have a lockout ? like radar says if its slipping it wont want to shift . and you are making more HP ! You did say you didnt mess with the fork shafts right ? so a spring coulndt of fell off ?
maybe the shifter shaft is out of adjustment and its not catching the shift start correct , I mean if it shifted fine before , there is nothing that turning the motor into a 7 mill that would cause problems . what about your clutch ?
Aint no way I will pay 53 bucks for a 5 gallon can of VP ! a few years back me and friend paid 225 bucks for a 50 gal drum " not VP" and it kept fine for 6 mos . I buy it now from a local distrubuter for 4 bucks a gallon pumped in to your own can . you pay an extra 5 bucks a gallon for the VP name .
