Now i wouldnt go using just any 2-stroke oil but i have run the red klotz techniplate in every 2-stroke iver ever owned. Its a very good quality oil. I wouldnt mix it much more than 40:1 though. I always went between 45-50:1.

Hey ive got a Paul Turner National ported motor i'd like to sell or trade for front suspension including aftermarket a-arms and shocks (No Junk). The motor is in good shape and ran whhen i pulled it out of the frame. It was just a little to much for me so i put a stocker back in its place. The cylinder has only been bored over once and still shows some crosshatch. It is stock stroke. The head has also had extensive work done to it and has been smothed and re-shaped. Both head and cylider are scribed with Paul Turner National. This motor comes complete minus carb/exhaust/shifter. (basically just the motor itself complete) Also have the kicker to send with it. Not sure what to ask for it, all the complete motors i see on ebay go for $800-$1400 depending on how recent it's been rebuilt and upgrades so lets say $1,000. Let me be clear here i'm not an expert so if my price seems high let me know or just shoot me an offer. To be honest i would rather trade it for a nice suspension set up but would sell outright also. I will upload pic tomorrow night or Friday and if there is anything specific you want to see let me know and i'll make sure to get it. Message me for any questions/offers/pic requests.

This kid is riding my old shee. He's a 16 year old and is new to the banshee world so cut him some slack he has a lot to learn. The 96 is geared down in front for low end with low end pipes and 2-1 intake and carb setup also on 18 inch tires if he put the razr's on which i think he should have. If the 2000 is stock gearing he will probably catch you on the top end. They are pretty similar basic motor setups. Make sure you are shifting at the right revs. When i first started riding it i was getting beat by stock predators and damn near by a 400ex before i figured out that i was over revving it and my power was dropping off. Once i got it figured out i was basically shifting right after it hit the power band which was extremely narrow with the gearing, pipes, intake and tires. Once you hit 4th gear you will be able to slow down on the shifting a little for every gear after 4th. I would tell you to keep the race fairly short distance and you should be good but dont be surprised if he grabs you at the end. Great for tight trail riding. All bottom end with little to no top end. I have them on mine and love em but i ride tight trails a lot and very rarely drag or open field ride. What typppppppe of riding do you do.

OK i got the shee all cleaned up the pther day and when i started it fuel was just dumping out of my overflow tube. It does it everytime i turn the fuel on whether it is running or not. Is my carb just dirty and need cleaned or are there other causes for this. Before it started doing it the jetting was good and i hadn't had any problems with it. It will still start and seems to run fine but obviously something isnt right. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

ok guys gave the shee a little face lift and added some works dual rate fronts. New pro-taper bars and powermadd hand guards. Bought a yellow seat cover but when it got here the color was way off so i didnt put it on. The one on it isnt exact either but was way better than the yellow cover. Added a billet basket and a few other odds and ends. Let me know what you think of the change. Before pic is on my sig.... for now at least.

I think the main reason i couldnt move on him till 4th is bacause i am pretty much shifting the whole time till i get to fourth and then can keep it in one gear for a while longer and actually make up ground.

Hey just wanted to add an update. My buddy and i finally raced yesterday. He had me by 1/2 a quad until i hit 4th and then i passed him and ended up beating him by a length. He definately had more low end but as long as we were going a good distance i could get by him pretty much every time.
