start first by checking spark plugs ,flywheel for clean post and no rattle, check the gap on the stator and the stator itself , coil,& wires ,plug caps & harness. theres a spec sheet on here to most of the electronics to see if there usable..also make sure all grounds are making contact on frame. you basicaly have to start with eliminating the easy stuff first . goodluck

i run a trail ported stock stroke at 1000' , 330 main and 27 1/2 pilot jet on 28mm mikuni TM's. your main may be alil smaller as there bigger carbs but id do 27 1/2 pilot or 30 max on the pilot and slowly drop your 330 main if its fat . but i dont think thell be to much or a change for you on top......... goodluck and let us know what you ended up with and how she goes

im all for doing/moding things that no one else has messed with or tried, but would 'nt be alot cheaper & better to jus throw the your shee motor in a 450 chasis. shoot then youll have your 450 suspenion how it supose to work and the power of the shee goodluck

i have a set if these exact nerfs, they were bougt 1 year ago and sat in my basment since.so they've never been mounted .bolts& instalation papers are still taped on.there are some scratches as they ve sat for awhile, but nothing that a lil buffing /cleaning wont cure. They are made of lightweight aluminum but are incredibly strong. Features include: ... full lightweight aluminum bottom pan ... foot peg extension for added control ... angled downward toward the frame for drainage ... all neccessary hardware included ... i wasnt aware of that .... could it cause problems?? ..i ran vp then switched to LL because it was easier to get and less $. it seems to work great for my lil 350.np as of yet ..
