I would check your compression to be sure the topend isn't in the process of going out.

Just had mine come loose the other day. Bike did the same thing. Blue loctite and an impact will take care of the problem.

Also buy a dead blow hammer. It will make life easy when separating the cases.

Mine run up hill a bit too. I can see an air bubble in my line but the bike doesn't seem to lean out when running. I have ran it and checked the plugs and still fine. Have you ran it with the air bubble and did a plug chop.

It is truely an easy install. If you can work on a boat motor then you will have no problem. It took me about a day to tear it down and a day to put it back together. A clymers manuel is a huge help. I would do it again before paying to have it done. Check with the site sponsors and they may be able to help you for pretty cheap. If you do jump into it and need some help let me know. You will love the 421 Cub it really rips.

Alright here is the deal. I have set of VF3 and VF2. I just built my 421 cub and cant decide which to run in my bike. I have searched and read the posts. I want to know from people who have ran both of these reeds in their bikes. If you havent run them please dont respond with what your friends, dads brother thinks of the difference. I want people who have ran them. I am going to sell one of the two sets and cant decide which is better. I do mostly drag racing and dunes. Give me some pros and cons. If you have ran both on the dyno that would be great.

I am selling my Trinity Cool Head. It comes with two sets of domes 18cc and 19cc. It has has the nuts needed to install. I have a set of used orings that are in good shape. Ding ding ding................the winner was a flywheel nut backing off and shearing the pin. Fixed that bad boy and off we go. I must say I havent even really got to crazy and I am pretty sure this thing is going to rip.

No port work at all. I am thinking that the rings may not completly set. I am going to run it for a bit then check the comp again.

This may be a dumb question but how do I raise the compression now. Would I have to have new domes cut for the cub.

I am going to take it apart today and check the flywheel. I used the puller from FAST to remove the flywheel, that thing is great.

I am going to run avgas 100LL.

So after the build my compression is right at 140 on each cylinder. What should it be 421 Cub with 20cc Domes 1400ft elevation

So we have no spark. Guess I will start to chase this down

So let me tell you what I built then we will find out what wrong 421 Cheetah Cub 34mm Carbs Noss Head 20cc domes timing at +4 So I get it together and heat cycle it and there are no leaks. I check the torque on the bolts and we are good. I take it for a quick ride. Nothing crazy just a steady easy ride in first, second and third. It runs for about 10 minutes then just dies. Will not restart. While riding I lost a pod filter and went for about 600 yards before I noticed it fell off. It was in grass and no real dust. Checked the plugs and they look good. Checked the fuel and it is good. Still cant restart. Compression is right at 140psi. Any help on what to check.

Need some help guys. I just finished my 421 cub build and am having a hell of a time with the filters. I am running 34MM Mikuni carbs with reed spacers to clear the clutch arm. However there is hardly any room for filters. What are you running that you still have enough room.

I just picked up a RD350 polished stator cover for cheap. My question is will it fit my Banshee. From what i can tell it should. I was just wondering if anyone has made this attempt.

I am finishing my 421 Cub motor and am having some problems getting the clutch arm to go back into the top of the motor. Any tips or tricks that might help.
