Hey guys im thinking about switching my j arm frame too an arm setup. could some one take a few pics of a stock a arm setup so i can figure out how im going too do it im also building my own arms for this. i also want too build a set of nerf bars so could someone post up som pics of that aswell and a few measurements like how far out from the frame they go and how long they are. thanks for all the help.

yes the scooter tire will fit on them. i have the same wheel with the 3.5x10 kenda tire on them for sell if someone is looking for a pair. sit got the little tits on the tire.

hey racer would you be willin too rebuild and revalve someones shock and how much would you want too do it?

ya man they are alot better. the front shee shocks cant be rebuilt and they dont have any adjustment. the yfz 450 shocks have rebound and compresion adjustment aswell as preload. plus you can get dual rate spring kits for them that make them really nice. and works suck! elkas are supossed too be awesome but a set of elkas with all those adjustment will run you in the $1000 range.

Hey guys Im looking for some yfz 450 shocks for the shee. i wish i could get the the whole 450 front end but my bike is a j arm bike. hey man i own a track in henagar,Al. i will be having my first practice ride Feb. 6th and i was hopeing i could get some more banshees too come ride with me since im the only one around.call me for more details at 605-6482 and im workin on a myspace for it right now.

My dad and I had too build gas tanks for our lambo kit car and we had some pin holes so my Dad sealed it with jb weld.He driped a little inside the tank on accident and after setting a few weeks with gas in it we had too take some parts off the car and you could not make a mark on the jb weld in the tank with screw driver, so if you prep it good it would up too gas.

with all the gas running everywhere it sounds like your float hight is not right.

he has the single carb setup so there is no choke tube. if you dont know what the jets are man you need too learn. thats one thing that comes with owning a banshee. what kind of carb do you have? i bet its a khine 33 or 35mm carb. i have never messed with them so someone else is going too have too help you.

what are your mods and what jets do you have in it right now. also your elevation and temp.

im not putting them back on i didnt like them. the porting i did turned out awesome with the fmf fatties. the power band comes on so smooth in the mid and pulls forever. its great! the one thing i hate is how hard it is too push the gas. i lubed the cable and mad it better but it still sucks. when i do the tors removal will it be easier too push?

i put some b7es plugs in it and it really helped it out.i think im lean now.im going too rejet it tomorrow or saturday and see how it does.

i was thinking about the weak spark too. the air filter was just cleaned and there is not any fuel running out the overflow or any thing.

hey guys, hope everyone had a good christmas. I got a problem but ill start with what i got. 87 shee with fmf fatties, stock carbs with 25 pilot 220 main and 1.5 turns out on the air screw, no lid uni filter and stock ported reed cages with stock reeds. everything was stock including the pipes, then i ported the red cages and had too go up too a 270 main. then i took the jugs off and ported them. ext-188* and 66% width, transfers- 125*. i cleaned up the intake side but did not make anything huge or crazy lookin. when i put it back together i had too put the 220 main in it too get it too run ok could go down too a 210 and see if that would make it any better. so i called kevin and asked him what was up and he said it was because i had the stock pipes on it. so i got the fatties and put them on and it did not change anything. so i called him back and he is at a loss just like i am. so what im asking is if anyone has any ideas whta it maybe or some stuff too check out. i a guy at work said too try a hotter plug and see what that does. im running a b8es. im about 1000' above sea level and the temp is going from 55-20*f. thanks for the help and happy new year.

i have never rode a a arm shee before but i would think its not much diff. they are a little lighter than the a arms but not much i dont think. im sold then i will be getting the 450 shocks then.i got a vid of me jumping a 90 foot table top at my motocross track i may post up. if you land right its pretty good but if you dont it hurts and i have rode a 450 and land the sameway and its not as bad.plus you can get the 450 shocks that have the piggy backs for 200-300 bucks versus the regular at stellers that are 450 for just the shock and i think rezzies are 150 or 200 more.

i was just going too use the shocks with the stellar j-arms. elkas are way over my budget right now

i have a j-arm bike too. do you know how much the stellar j-arms are i meant too call but aint got around too it yet. and how do the 450 shocks compare too the works at steelers or is there any difference.

you got any pics. if it looks good then ya that would probaly be a good deal. check the compression in both cyl. 110psi and up is ok 100-90psi needs a rebuild.
