  1. Like said above...shearers are definitely the way to go(thats whats on my 421 with 35pwks also) Cpis are also great pipes, though i havent ran them on my 421. Both are topend pipes. As for the lock up, if you dont want to go all out direct drive(spendy investment) go with a slingshot lock up. It will fit right under your stock case and there is a guy selling one on the bhq facebook page for like 125 bucks. Hopefully your shop knows what they are doing with the porting. There is a local yamaha shop around me that claims to do great porting, but if you dont know what your looking for they will just do a clean up port and charge you for a full on drag port. Check into some site sponsors on here, they have great reps and have fast turnaround time with excellent prices. I have personally delt with cameron at redline, and kevin at HJR. Both are great guys. If you live in oregon redline also has a dyno the he can dial your bike in on with jetting and gearing so it is perfect for you.
  2. have no fear major is here I agree with what all was said above me. Maybe also before you start it again pull off the carb on the side u think isnt running and make sure u didnt lose a reed. maybe you can save it before it gets sucked all the way in the motor. Just an idea.

  7. If they are big bore the flange that hooks to the cylinders will be much larger then a small bore flange. Unless its a big bore small flange then i dont know what to tell you.

  12. i weigh 230 with a +6 swinger. Im also thinking about going to a +8 but that was gonna be later down the road after i got paddles. I dont have a problem at all with keeping the front end down, i just sit my big ass on the tank and go lol. i dont know exactly how many pounds i have in the tires right now but i can tell you that they are pretty low.
  13. looking for a newer cr500 engine for a hybrid build. would like all of items to make it run, harness, carb, ect. The motor must be in running condition.

Trying to figure out what paddles to go with to best suit my motor and riding style. have a 421 cub right now that i like to dune and hill shoot. its not even close to being a straight up drag bike. I have 22" 10 paddle extremes right now and they just dont hook up as well as i would like them to. Trying to decide between going with 12 or 14 paddle. Anyone dune with 14s on? Just wondering if that is to much paddle or not.

  16. Its gonna pull hard all the way through the powerband. Its not going to have a huge hit up top, it should roll on nicely. Your gonna be very happy with that setup. I dont know what kind of hp your gonna be looking at. Its gonna be a huge jump from stock though. Do you have the tors removed from your carbs? maybe consider going with some 28 or 30 pwks. Just something else to add lol. Someone else will chime in and have an idea of what your hp will be around.
  17. I have a st of t-5s with stingers and silencers. The chrome isnt in the greatest shape. They would clean up pretty well if someone wanted to put a little work into them. There are absolutely no dents in the pipes, just some rust, and a little spot where some pants melted. The majority of the rust is on the inside of the pipe. All the brackets are fine. Then also come with the pipe wraps. Need some o-rings for the headers. Asking 300 shipped.   18. I have a 2009 CRF450 that has no mods. It is bone stock from the factory. I has probably less then 20 hrs on it. Im in the navy and never get to ride it. Trying to get some money back. They bike is in great condition besides one little crack in the front number plate from my stupid friend synching a tie down across it. This bike is in pristine condition. Asking $4500.   19. Probably shouldnt have posted in this topic. But ill answer anyway. Just check out ebay. Look up an 85 or 86 ATC250R because its the exact same tranny and you will get it a hell of a lot cheaper then looking up TRX parts. I have one for an 87 that is in pieces if you can wait a few weeks for it.
