sure you can replace just the second gear.you can order one from yamaha or find someone that has tranny parts or you can get a billet second gear..

dont over fill you could blow out a crank seal..i use one of those blood pressure things they put around your arm to fill mine

i run the 1/8 only,and i love my 1-4 clutch 5&6.i use all 6 gears at the track.

doesnt have to be from the seal,it could also be from the water pump gear key on the crank.have had it happen on my bike

your going to have to remove you stock tranny and drum and send it out to someone who deals with trannys.i use WCR.all his trannys come with warranty..

they have billet cranks,billet trannys and tz bearings..what area are you in??

if it holds 5psi in 5min your good.your leaving pressure in to long.

jb weld will work great.i use it when i port my cases and it works great.

what do you have done to your motor??what head??have you check your water reserve tank for bubbles??if the head gasket is out you will see bubbles in the tank when you rev it.

ive been a member over on ps for around 2 years now,and the sight is great.the q is also great,but when you get past the stock stuff and have ?s,you want somebody to answer and 90% of the people on here havent got past the 4mill motor.there is a member on here that is asking about trenching cases for a 10 mill.do you guys have the answer to that???im sure the other 10% do,but havent chimed in yet...what im trying to say is the q is great,but planet sand is mainly for bigger motors.not putting anybody down..we've all been there

might be water..does the smoke look like steam???did you torque your head down??

could be blow-by..and you just noticed now.if it was water it would look more like steam..and at times you could see the water coming out of the silencer....

bad idea on the air shifter..since it cuts the cdi when you shift you lose time.trust me been there done that..with the override you wont need one,but if you still want it get the air over air system.needs no power source and you wouldnt need to cut off the cdi when shifting.

i guess first ? would be if you have any porting.if you do you dont want to use a cast piston.i also like wsm
