  1. no spacers on a short rod
  2. sounds like those stock cylinders need some more porting.i have some stock cylinder bike that run alot harder than that.if you go to oky on fri nights you must of seen some..102-104mph IN THE 1/4 (NOT TOP END).if all you plan to do is trail ride stick to the long rod,but if your a trail/street racer i would go with a short rod.ive had better results with a short rod on smaller cranks
  3. if you grab the rods it should spin very freely..we're talking about a stock crank right??did you aline the pins?did you check bearings??

  5. any damage to the srings??chips,rust......
  6. i had a simillar problem on one of my alky motors.i was getting no smoke out the left cylinder and alot out of the right.thought it was a carb/reed problem.after driving myself insane...i saw that tranny fluid was getting into the crank from the straight cut/water pump gear key.alittle trades bond around the key and gears solved the problem..maybe your problem isnt the one that doesnt smoke its the one that does..check it out.

  21. KEV,dont know you,but it sounds like you know what im talking about..but customer service is always #1 in my book.sounds like this guy is going to get a hell of a motor..4mill cub on gas doing 120mph IN THE 1/8.SOUND LIKE YOU NEED TO GET A VIDEO.mph isn't always evrything..ET is where the moneys at..good luck with the build sound like your builder knows what he's doing.
  22. need to cut down some weight.stock frame comes in at about 50lb i lightend my frame and it came in at 29lb.get some -1 +1 aarms.i wouldnt go with any name brand swingarm have one custom made from quadcustoms very light weight and cheaper.get some skinnys on the front 10x2s spindal mounts WITH brake mounts.in 1/8 doing 110-120mph you need front brakes.only sand guys remove front brakes. lol..and about your port work...my first set up was a 4mill cub and i had it ported by a highly known shop and i found that a drag port to some shops doesnt work very well for 1/8.i then reported with a well known asphalt racing shop and i was explained the diffrance between a sand drag port and a asphalt drag port..big diffrance.i felt the port and saw it on my time slip.not to start anything or put anybody down just giving you my input.good luck and get ready to spend some mad cash
  23. i guess you get better prices than i do cause i paid 150 plus ride.$170..thanks for setting it straight.. shocks sold!!!
