When you lowered your frontend you changed your alignment. If your going to keep it like that you need to make some adjustments.

Happen to have a clutch basket?

Well as it always happens when you try to finish a build in a hurry, i've found out my clutch basket gear has a nick in it. I can only assume from a kickstart spring failure in the past. I'm trying to get this thing ready for my first ever banshee ride in a couple weeks and this is the LAST thing i can find keeping me from getting it going. Funds have run out fast for this build so if you have one laying around that has even a little life left in it and can cut a fellow rider a break i would really appreciate it. Not looking for a freebie but looking for cheap as possible.

Like the title says i need stock head studs. I know somebody out there has upgraded and has a box of these studs laying around.

How many new topics are you going to star on the same problem? I've seen at least 4.

Since you ran it already, you got oil on the cylinders and pistons from the gas oil mix washing over them. Only reason to oil the cylinders is so that you don't have a dry startup. Now that is not an issue. Personally i wouldn't pull it apart but that is personal preference.

I would think you would be ok putting a little oil down the spark plug holes and slowly turn the motor over a few times, with no plugs in it. Is it ideal....no but better than tearing it apart again. Yes the rings will wipe the oil but some will get past. Of course if the motor has already been run this way there is nothing to be done.

Is rocky ridge considered dacatur? Glad the bars worked out for ya maybe i'll see you on the trails sometime.

I plan on doing this in the future but have bigger fish to fry at the moment. If you do the conversion let us know how it went.
