Ya its as rough as it looks..4 angles in total. even has a nice sharp lip at the edge of the squish band
-
56 hp or so when we rolled it in..was Makin 82 and slipping the clutch with only change being domes..didn't touch anything else
-
havnt got to ride it. it's at my shop, but there's a lot of businesses around..costco and stuff. only way to mess with it is going over there after 7 and I've been moving my parents. I don't have room to even get outta third either. wish I had time to take it somewhere.

Best of craigslist..................
apeik replied to Blownyel93's topic in General Banshee Discussion
http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/mcy/4608029048.html Not that there's anything wrong with this banshee, it's actually got some good parts. Now the funny part is it's the same ad, same pic... same ORIGINAL 12 hours of claimed run time as the listing said in december of 2008 when i bought my banshee. The price did come down $600 from 2008 though. Good times -
hey look they open all the way

It's easier to just go to the hill...and bathe in the tears of 4 stroke riders.

ya..When I say 20 hours that was probably real time spent in the desert.. i wasted about a whole season at 300 bucks a trip. It was pretty demoralizing. only way it would run was 175+ mains, 55+ pilot and dgk needles on 5th clip. edit..thinking back it had to be much worse than 20 hours..Most days I was spending 4+ hours changing jets while out there then..till I couldn't hunch over anymore to work on it.
-
gonna name my new club WFO on the needles. Honestly i was to busy trying to figure out why my passion ported cub was only pulling like 60 hp on the first few pulls, switched every piece of electronics and all that. Ended up switching to 20cc domes and threw some race gas in and it made 82 then the clutch started slipping. 6-7 hp down from the other cub that came with me lol...see a trend here? Anyways it crossed my mind one other time that they weren't opening all the way, but the person i cross checked mine with...had the same damn problem so i thought it was normal they didn't open all the way . Thanks for the reach around guy's, hopefully this makes this thing a bit easier to jet, since on the cub i spent about 20 hours trying to jet it.

45 shipped... it's already in a box let's go.

he had to adjust his idle stop on his chariot housing to allow full love mentioned up and down. This is after it was all fixed up
-
picture of my friends carbs pulled wfo for the lolz picture of what mine looks like if you pull the cable up while wide open..so they do go up quite a bit
-
ordered the longer adjusters, so should be able to get them to open all the way when they come in. Turns out my friends carbs were opening about 80% or so as well, but he had the longer adjusters, and they were so far adjusted down they were hitting the slide on the top to the adjuster . I need more room to chop out the main and see where it ends up.
-
It's a twist..don't have any way to mod it..ordering the longer adjusters in a few minutes. it's the cable from the 2 into 1 part that's just to long
-
this is with adjusters ran 1 thread from falling out. still till not completely open it appears
-
They weren't outta sync..I pulled the boot on the right side up off the adjuster.. and took a pic to show they don't open 100%. cable so stretched that with the adjusters on their last thread they still don't open 100%. guessing I was never running fully on the main?
-
So i was brainstorming last night.. came into work and pulled the right cable adjuster boot up...and took a pic...appears they havnt been opening all the way with this stretched cable.
-
ya, im guessing it'll be pretty obvious if it's the carbs causing it to be lean naturally. his smokes like crazy with 48/155's sitting in the garage.
-
Ya, i need to do a plug chop, but i dont have room to get out of third gear at my shop without getting it impounded. When it was on the dyno at shearers with the cub cylinders on it, is when it was at 175 main, dgk 5th clip, 55 pilot at 3k alttitude and he said the jetting was good. Course it only made 82hp and was slipping the shit out of the clutch, now it's got a lockup. i might try to swap carbs, prolly best direct way.
