over thanks giving my banshee blew a head gasket i think but anyways my friend let me ride his maas kfx400 box stock with a slip on pipe and next to my banshee with +2+1 a arms ishock front shocks and a marvin shaw rear coilover set for desert and my weight the kfx felt like i could race baja on it after riding the banshee.. i love banshees and the way they scream but you cant compair to the newer STOCK suspension even with after market banshee suspension... it was a bit slow tho.. if your lookin for speed go banshee but if you want to cruise and ride all day with plush suspension go 4poker.

sounds like my future set up haha i plan on buyin a rappy some time this year.

yea from dumont.. you go on that trail that crosses the river a few times and just follow it all the way and eventually it will turn into paved/gravel road.. it was 50 miles round trip.. i did it on my xr650 with a desert tank so if your on a banshee a little bit of extra fuel would be more safe.. thats to bad some one got hurt in that buggy wreck,, i saw flight for life once this trip.

i like the black.. im not interested in doin it but id like to see all of the other colors haha every time you do a new set post up pics.. i think its bad ass!

well i just got me a black berry tour and fuckin love it.. email is awsome the web is better then my ipod touch (same as iphone) i can go to beemp3.com straight from the phone and get free music anywere im at.. fuckin love the track ball.. black berry all day haha i have a app store like the ipone and its pretty fast all around.. i dont even use my jail broken ipod touch anymore .. almost got the curve 2 but id rather have a track ball... its just easier.

banshees are sick and monsters in the dunes but if i had the cash to go out and buy somthin new it would be a raptor700 .. only 17 lbs. heavier then a yfz450 and its fuel injected wich is cool haha.. plus you dont need to do anything with it but maybe a pipe.. either a rappy or a yfz450

put a power jet in a keihin? now im confused haha so say we go up to utah.. do i still have to take the carbs apart to rejet or if the power jet is on a keihin is it all done from the top of the carb like a lectron? we make a few trips a year up to higher elevation and all of the jetting and redoing carbs gets annoying.. we have 2 banshees.. 4 carbs to dial in haha

i think i remeber seeing some where that they improved on them in the last few years so maybe you had a bad one? idk but the thing i like about the keihins is all the support because almost everyone has em so there is always some one to answer questions.. ive actually never even seen a lectron in person.. but i like how simple they are and it would make my banshee more unique.. haha tough choice

i have pro circuit platinum pipes with 304 silencers and there awsome.. huge power gain over stock and with a good low end.. i ride desert trails and dunes but they are mainly a good low - mid pipe. they sound awsome too.

looking into carbs and its between keihins or lectrons.. my banshee has pro circuit pipes a milled head boyseen reeds HDclutch springs and 13/41 gearing .. wanna get some more power up top without killing my low end.. so im either going 28 keihins or 30 lectrons.. i like the how simple lectrons are but a lot have people have told me they love there keihins .. ino porting is coming in the future.. nothin to crazy... id like to keep my banshee trail and desert worthy.. i also have a question about elevation.. where im at now its about 1500 ft above sea level.. well when we go to utah its like 5-6000 ft i think.. what would i have to do to lectrons since theres no jetting?

I ride trails desert and dunes and i just bought a marvin shaw coilover for the rear.. everyone told me they were no good for what i do but i couldnt resist the price and service... best rear shock i have EVER had on any quad.(ive only ridden stock shocks tho haha). pretty cheap (compaired to elkas or works) and good quality.. plus they set it up for my weight and riding style and valved it perfect.. marvinshawshocks.com i think is ther website... i see a lot of draggers with them and strictly dune banshees but i put it to the test riding 70miles vegas to prim and back and rode like a cadilac.

i like having a brake light.. cheesy or not it still helps when it works at night

yea i brought up the rz350 cuz my dad has an 1985 RZ350 (RZ is watercooled RD is air cooled i think) but yea if your loosing traction get a -1 swinger.. you will have more weight on the wheels and more traction all around.. the front end will not wanna ever come down haha

a lot depends on what banshees are goin for in your area too but that banshee is worth about $5500 but you could maybe get 4k for it... i wanted to sell my banshee too but i cant get what i put into suspension so i said fuck it and just keep it atleast until people start buying toys again if the economy gets better.
