  13. I am running alky for the first time and have just as many people tell me that you don't need to purge as I do people saying that I do need to. Lately I've been just making sure I run it at least every other day, but am getting ready to tear down for cleaning and powder coating. Does anyone have any tips on the easiest way to do this? I found a purge kit for karts, but I'm not sure it comes with big enough fuel line. Take a look and let me know if you think it'll work. http://www.jexmfg.com/purgekit.htm

  19. Having my swinger and A-arms re PC'd and looking for some advice on the color. Should I have them redone in black or do something different from the frame???? Let me know what you think.... Thanks!!!!
  20. Take a close-up picture of the grill you want it matched to and send it to 87sheerips like paddleboy said. If anyone can do it he can.
  21. this might be a stupid question, but should I have put a gasket between the intake and reed cage? I put one between the cages and cylinders, but wasn't sure if I needed to put one between the intake and cages....
  22. I sell them new here in Michigan.... The 6.1L is definetely the better motor. If you are trying to stay somewhat practical, then go with the 5.7L as you will get the lifetime warranty from Dodge. With minimal mods you can boost the 5.7 HP to that of the 6.1. In terms of the transmission choice, go with the manual. The A/T will still make for a fun car, but if you want to realize the full potential of either engine, go with the optional 6 speed.
  23. Looking for a boss(or similar) intake with built in crossover for 34mm carbs. Let me know what you got!! Have pro-design to trade or can send payment via paypal.
  24. Here's mine.... Finally got that motor in and runnin, I'll just say I'm not disappointed. Still have a lot of billett to polish and a lot of cleaning to do, but thought it might help It will look a lot better after some fresh PC and some polishing....
  25. Not sure about the JB Weld man, I've seen it used in a case repair(not mine) and it didn't hold up at all there. It is dealing with more than just heat there though.... I have a decent clutch cover I was going to throw on ebay, but if you want it so your starting with something fresh let me know, I'll let it go cheap.
