  5. That was a great trip, we couldn't have asked for better weather!! I've got to learn how to keep my front wheels on the ground though, got beat by JD on his trail bike and I'm fairly confident I'll neeeevvvver hear the end of it, HAHA. Didn't even care too much when I ran out of alky at the drag track.... that is until I got SAND BLASTED being pulled back to the parking lot. Great time though, can't wait to go back!!!!

  7. We're in the state park, but they wouldn't tell me ahead of time where our site was. We'll just have to find out when we get there Saturday
  8. My brother's looking for a Grizzly or something similar in a 4X4 quad and he has about a $4,000 budget. We are located in southwest Michigan and would like to pick something up within a reasonable distance. If you have anything or know someone that does, please let me know.... -Mike

  15. Glad you started this topic.... I'm pulling mine apart to adjust it today and also check for a pancake bearing, gonna order one if I don't have it. If you're still workin on it I might just run up & see how it's going together....
  16. anyone know what the torque spec is for tightening down the clutch springs?
  17. Thanks for the help man.... I still haven't gotten the adjustment nut loose and I think to break it loose I'll have to pull of the pressure plate so I can check it all out at once. The adjuster bolt and nut spin freely so I'm thinking either it is not welded or if it is it should pull out pretty easily. I am ordering a pancake bearing though, sounds like it's worth the money. Thanks Again!
  18. My clutch lever is insanely hard to squeeze and even when I squeeze it in and it feels like it's disengaged it still jumps and dies when I put it in gear. When I adjust the cable all the way out at the lever, it will go into gear and stay running but still jumps hard. Think that's my problem? Do you normally have to split the cases to get the rod & ball out or will they slide out if I lean it to the clutch side?
  19. So what are the signs of the push rod and ball being welded together.... what causes it?
  20. Wow, that is cheap.... I'm paying $3.05/gal. down here!
  21. Perfect, I would have paid for them twice over with shipping!
  22. LOL, ya it was.... these were taken before the badlands trip. She's powerwashed now, but I have a lot of polishing to do before Silver Lake in a couple weeks.
