  6. So I just installed my new motor and carbs and am having trouble with getting it to run correctly. It will start fight up, idle and rev in neutral.... as soon as I put it in gear and try to go, it bogs down and wants to die, wont make any power. My carbs are also pouring gas out throught the over flow tubes and I've got raw fuel coming from the exhaust. The carbs are stock mikunis converted professionally to alcohol. I though at first that maybe the floats were stuck causing them to overflow, but I pulled the bowls off and they're fine. I did notice that there is now only one side to the float and no splash bowl. Also running V-Force 2 reeds. The motor has a stage III port, lightened flywheel, shaved head, 40 over bore, all machine work done by A&S and +4 timing. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try?

  9. I'll be completely honest with you.... I never had the motor running with it on. I bought the motor fully assembled and am replacing all of the stock parts with billett and chrome. It does feel very solid though. I don't think you'd have any trouble with it. Let me know....
  10. I also have a Pro-Design 26-28mm intake with boost bottle available. Works with V-Force Reed Cages. This is mounted on my Banshee, but is new.... never been ran. Again, make offer....

  16. I'm switching from 36mm Gas Keihins to Stock, Alcohol converted carbs. The trouble is that I cant get the throttle cable to attatch to the needle assembly. On the Keihin there is a plastic collar that slides down around the end of the cable locking it into the slide, but I didn't get anything like that with the alky stockers. Am I missing a piece? If so, does anyone know what it's called so I can order it? Thanks again for the help!!
  17. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the best Tranny Oil and Coolant to use in a Banshee. The manual says any 10w30 motor oil, but then I go to my local Yamaha dealer and they give me 10w40 Yamalube Tranny oil. As far as coolant, I really don't know what's best.... Let me know what you think. Thanks!

  20. I am trying to take apart my +4 swingarm to have the powdercoat redone, but don't know the correct way to get it apart. Anyone know how it should come apart? Thanks!

  22. I just purchased an A&S built motor and stock carbs converted to Alcohol. Motor has a stage III port, bored 40 over, milled head, lightened fly-wheel, welded-Trued Crank, V-Force 2 Reeds, Pro-Design intake w/ boost bottle, +4 timing and am running RDZ in-frame pipes. Can't find much info on the pipes, but I can post a pic if it helps with the advice. The Carb has the jets still in it that were run with this motor, but with different pipes. Should I be cool the way it is or where do you think I should start? Thanks in advance for the advice....
