  1. right on man! hope you can make it....
  2. We're trying to get as many people together as possible for our first Silver Lake riding / camping trip of the year. We're heading up to set up camp Friday the 17th and staying through the 19th! Hope a bunch of us can make it!! 1. blackedout96 2. 87sheerips 3. bansheefreak89 4. bansheebobby We'll also have a few non-member riders with us.... should be a blast!!
  3. I'll be in either my silver TrailBlazer SS or black H3, not sure which one I'm taking yet.
  4. Are you trying to get it out of the tors or out of the carb slide? Definitely get the tors eliminator kit, it simplifies everything. If your trying to get it out of the carb slide, there is a little clip that slides down around the cable and retainer on top of the slide, try to work that loose then hold the slide upside down, it should fall right out. You can also take the 2 small screws out and it'll come loose, but they're hell to put back in.
  5. Holy shit.... now it says high of 68 and only a 30% chance of rain!! be cool if that holds but there's no way it will. I wouldn't be afraid to camp Saturday night if that held!
  6. Lookin good dude.... what did you end up with for a motor? I'm guessing it's nothing like the A&S stock stroke I got from you! lol
  7. Cool, thanks for all the help guys. I'll see what I can do with this.
  8. Ya I've been riding it the way it is.... does act funny at low rpm. here are the pictures.
  9. I bought a used set of VF2's and am having a little trouble. I know that there is a high and low setting that needs to be matched on both sides(high or low to be "up" on both sides). My problem is, it looks like someone replaced the pedals and put them back together wrong. one cage has high on both sides and the other has low on both sides. Does anyone know, is there anything else I can look at to be sure they are both put in correctly so they are matched on both cylinders? Thanks in advance for any help!!
  10. Well.... at this point Accuweather says a high of 59 and partly cloudy. Weather.com says a high of 44 and a 40% chance of rain. I'm guessing it might sprinkle a little bit but that's not going to hurt us. We can check the forecast Thursday and that will give us a pretty accurate idea of what we're looking at.
  11. I'll be down for hittin just about any tavern when we're done riding. Just hope there's a hotel close by!!
  12. lol ya i agree, but at least there's hope! it'll probably change 4 times just today
  13. Weather update: March 7 Forecast I'm definitely bringing my paddles, never really ridden in sand and I want to see what my new motor will do.... Only a week away!!
  14. I'm looking for a stainless socket head bolt & nut that attatches the rear shock to the swingarm link. I went to Lowes last night and got a plain ol' grade 8 but it doesn't match the rest of my bike.... let me know if you can help. Thanks!
  15. Was reassembling the shee and forgot the bolt connecting the rear shock to the suspension link was cross-threaded. I will take anything that fits, but would like to have stainless allen head to match the rest of the bike. Let me know if you have one laying around! Thanks!
  16. Weather.com says only 30% chance of rain and 46 degrees.... 10 days away, lets hope that holds! I'm game for driving up Friday but depends on what everyone else in my group wants to do. I'd way rather do that then drive up @ 4am Saturday!
  17. I know our group will be at least +1(non-member). Will be on a 4x4 quad.... Don't worry about the weather, just ride hard. You'll stay warm!
  18. PM 87sheerips. He does a great job has reasonable prices and quick turnaround
  19. Has anyone taken a count lately to see how many of us are going? Are we gonna swarm this place with shees or what!!
  20. Looking for a set of decent nerf bars and installation hardware. don't need to be perfect as they are going to get powdercoated, that is unless they are already black! Let me know what ya got
  21. Does anyone know if we need spark arrestors out there? I'll bring em with anyway, just curious....
  22. Group photo would be cool, but how about in the morning before they're all caked with mud, then maybe another one around lunch time.... Before & After! Just spoke with someone at badlands, they said there is no snow there and there is none in the forecast! This should be killer, great way to start the season.
