  1. okay 421 cub clean up port on alky with 30 shot on a +12 stretch rigid frame +10 over swinger.... i wanna run asphalt and i need to know some of your guys input on a tire or tire size.... i can get deals on micro sprint tires....but i don't know what size...i am figuring on some 20x10x10 american racers sd23 compound.... in a Hoosier im guessing around a 63x10x10 soft compound... most of all what i need to know is...i found some jr dragster slicks that are brand new cheap!!! there 18x10x10...would they be to small in diameter for gearing reasons but would i hook up because they are slicks??? i have been told by tedder in a email that slicks are to violent on parts..but these being small 18's would they be tall enuff and beter yet would my bike hook up with these haveing around 120hp on spray and +10 swinger,,, take in mind im 200lbs rider.... thanx matt
  2. yea thats a typo i need to fix ,,,its a 14 41 and yea i ran a 14 44 on the stock stroke cub and was geared right on for stretching 4th at the line so i figure with the +10 or so hp and the bigger heavier prowedge 1's on 10's it should be in the pullin rpm range in 4th with the 14 41 ..but with the nos it should just blow the tires off ,,,im thinking about running a 15 with juice.. did you launch in 2nd with the 15 43 abd how far over was ya???? im also 200lbs that make a diference.... the track i run is harder dirt ,,,only paddles that run are the terrain traks with the H paddles on them... its a real fast track though,,,i mean for slower bikes it s freaky fast but us bigger guys have trouble making it hook on the big end... i would say if i hook i should run around a 3.92 off the bottle....but take for example a bone stock can am rennagade will run a 4.90 on a good night..... ive seen bone stock banshee's strutted with prowedge 2's run 4.90's as well....but after the sunsets the dew falls us faster guys just give it up...lol matt

  5. yea there diferent.....the airstrikers are quad vented so they let more air in or out,,,i dont think there needed in drag racing just mostly motocross for the jumping and throttle response.....

  7. can you do chrome and whats some powdercoating prices???? these carbs would be real good for topend and mid...i didnt get ahold of dennis today so i dont yet know for sure if they are gas or alky ...... i like to trade so anyoffers will be looked at and took serious,, i seriously need some 10-14 paddle haulers or 20-21" american racers or hoosier tires,,,,a fuel pump or pingle. sprockets ect...just anything guys..... i have had some offers but so far nothing is final...... thanx matt
  8. c'mon guys nothing????? i would trade these for a $50 fuel pump or a $80 pingle or a new stock petcock and pump???? these are well worth that ,,,sum1 could make money on these carbs!!!!!! thanx matt
  9. here i have a set of 30mm straight bore lectrons...not sure what exact numbers are on the needles or seats but is in good working condition with power jets for alky or gas...... they have a custom top piece that connects both carbs 2gether and works off a single cable...pretty nice setup...i bought the carbs just for the lid set up and it wouldnt fit my 38's..... would work great on a duner or trail shee....lectrons are a awesome carb and i wouldn't own anything other...simple to jet and dennis packard will answer any questions about them..... ill take $200 obo i would also trade for .........used set of striaght cut primary gears,or a alky fuel pump or pingle valve or some used 22" paddles ..... matt

  13. i just had a anti vibe stem....other then that it vibes pretty hard.... i built a stock stroke cheetah cub motor(the one in my sig) to try and out run this up the hill,,,didnt happen ...lol the banshee just wouldnt hook up with the ohtsu's when the 500 would ...but with the same 358 cub motor killed the 500 on the drag track easy....by all most 1/2 second it is a blast to ride but what makes it diferent from most is it has the dirtbike pipe on it instead of most guys getting a swelled 250r pipe setup..... plus its a 86 shortrod cr 500 it was before honda started making a long rod and taking power out for reliability.... i ran with Lt's everyclimb becuase thats the only other big 2 strokes ,,,there was a couple of stock cylinder 4 mm shee's that under certian conditions would run close to us but not consistant ... but overall i love my 500r but ill take the banshee anytime over it...
  14. this is a picture of my trx500r. this thing has 89 hp on race gas at the rear wheels and 69 ft lbs tq. it's won 3 ama national hillclimb championships in the 2 stroke open class. through 300 ft like it sits ran a 4.60. i have a 421 cub on a drag frame and it won't even touch it.

  18. im sprying alky/nos mix into alky...ill just have to see how it will work im figuring on spraying a 20hp 10 per hole shot and run my timing around +4 and jim at pasion saidi should end up with 190lbs of comp on alky and spray......he 's the 1 cutting my domes...

  20. yea ill just stick with my smallbores becuase there welded up in 3 or 4 places where they have blew out and the stingers and mounting brackets have broke on each side...so i wouldnt get much out of them to get the new bigbores... im running a rigid drag frame thats +12 out the front and +10 out the back...i should run in the high 3.90's on motor i would think... im running the pro wedge 1's on a good fast dirt/sand track...i got nitrous but im having a hard time setting it up so i wouldnt have to run the button..i would like to set it up to where its on at wide open throttle but i have a twist throttle so im stuck for now.... also what kinda shot would you guys consider running on a 421...its got the hotrods crank so its welded but not the good kinda weld(you know what i mean)...i was thinking of runnin around a 10 per side or smaller with 18cc domes becuase i think ill blow the wheels off with anymore...also what kind of timing could i get by with on alky and spray??????
  21. im building a 421 cub motor with cleanup port on alky and nos that i got off of 530grafix and i was told by a local builder that the bigbore pipes made 10 more hp then smallbore pipes..and he also said he could make 116hp on his dyno with his fully drag ported cub with the bigbores.... most the guys i know around here with 10 mill cubs run small bore with bigbore stingers on there pipes...only way they run bigbores is if there 72mm bore or biger.. i already have smallbore cpi's they aint much to look at since they have broke and cracked 10 or so times and been welded back...so i couldnt get much outta them if i decided to switch to the bigbores i guess what im asking is that...would it be worth selling and or trading for the bigbores or keep what i got ,,,10 ponies is hard to come by and is this dude full of shit???? also the dude told me that he built a 421 cub that went 3.96 300ft sand/dirt on alky motor w/no spray
  22. i got some spindal mounts,,,dont know the brand but they have the solid dish rim style that is plain chrome rims they have smooth buffs that 12x3x10 msg me back if you are interested in some trade...also are the carbs taper bore or striaght are the high velocity's and whats the jets that in them right now???? thanx matt
