+4 is going to be your best bet. Still easy to turn and good in the drags. +6 is IMO for drags only. It will be kinda hard to turn and might give you trouble while running the dunes-Dan

Got it all done and tuned it, its a totally dif machine. Pulls the wheels threw 4th and will spin threw 3rd.lol. Gonna strap the plastic on tomorrow.

Got all my new mods in, billet impellar, stator plate at +4, vf3's, coolhead with 19cc, and pingle petcock. Started it up and it idles ok. But the left pipe gets hot and not the right. Runs rough while driving and can barely keep it alive when im moving. Advice. Running stock carbs with 310s, pods, and everything else below. Help me out guys

What gears do you guys usually launch in. Ive got a stock tranny, and have seen guys dump in 2nd and in first. My first is really low and i usually get beat when going from 1-2 and stay side by side till the end. But i dont want to hurt the trans if i dump in 2nd.-Dan

Im at about 1000-1100ft running 93pump so those 19cc are ok from what was stated above since im above 900ft

why are the vf3's not cut for this. Am i going to see a big improvement with the 3's?

I was a mack and volvo tech and had to quit due to disk slippage and bulging. At 20years old i was super scared but surgery fixide it and i started riding again this past weekend. Scary at first but then remembered why i fell in love with riding. Sorry to hear about you though. I can relate with the disk issues, pain pain pain. My advice is get a second opinion. I had 3 docs tell me they couldnt help me and the 4th rushed me into surgery and now im great again. No more tech'n but i still love to wake up every day-Dan

IMO, i used loctite insta gasket as a gasket. It holds up better IMO. But the gask is cheap as well.

you need the longer ones that came in the kit. comes with longer sizes and 2 extra longer ones for the front two studs
