  2. yeah i pulled the cover and all that and i got to the impellar do i just simply pull it out?? and its suposed to give you better cooling
  3. put a torque wrench on there try that if not ive herd of people keep the wrench on there then rolling the bike back with it in gear
  4. I can get this yamaha 400 roadbike engine i think its a old 400xs should i put this engine in my banshee for some more power???
  5. thanks i have a slight delay because or stripped bolts so im going to try to remove the paint with the case still on
  6. Im thinking of taking out my stock impellar and going with the modquad impellar how hard is it to swap???
  7. no need for it really they will be fine without locktight just tighten them down good without stripping them
  8. Im leaking trans oil not sure from where but what should this be just the seal?? and i want to pull my clutch case to polish it what do i need to do to prepare to pull it?
  9. After the sand dunes my bike died and my plugs were fowled a little over a year ago my cdi box went out so i got a new one so i think it went out again i want to by the rev box but i dont want to short out a 120$ part what should i do?

My bike only has pipes, reeds, pods, timing plate set at +4, and i just shaved 35thousandths off my head to make it equal about 20 to 21cc and i can run 93 to 110 octane fine and its a great power gain go on ebay serach up banshee milled head and theres a guy on there where u tell him how much u want shaved off and he has new stock heads he shaves for u its 65$ great bang for the buck

  12. Ive had my cdi box go out 2 times on my 1987 banshee is there some kind of aftermarket one i can get and why does it keep going out?
  13. i rode at the sand dunes for 5 days i was running my bike rich and it stalled and never started back up. my plugs were black and wet and i switched them out but still nothing any sugestions?
  14. Not trying to be a smart ass but it your chain loose are both your rollers still there and hows the teeth on your sprockets?

  18. yeah i got it out finally with the old vise grips now i gotta get this thing going by tues. so im gonna try to find some studs worst case senario can i use one bolt thats the same size and use all of the other studs??

  21. ok well im gonna try put a washer on it then a bolt and weld the bolt on and try to extract it that way. Any chance i can get a stud at a hardware or shoP? in stock
  22. Yeah it is sticking out about 2 inchs and i just tryed vise grips no luck i dont want to break the stud off in there cause there kind of rusted (its a 87) and i need to get this done by tuesday for my silver lake trip any idea where i can go to get them out or get new studs by then?
  23. I just Broke off one of my head studs how can i pull it out to replace it? i tryed plyers but its not budging any tips?
  24. Yes a banshee engine weighs less i believe and it has more potential easily taped with the simple bolt on mods, also there cheaper to rebuild :] banshees rulle
