bump, any more suggestions incase this bikes already sold

i do alot of open feild riding and occasional trails but i get out to silver lake sand dunes every now and then and i love smoking them 4 pokes and im just looking for enough power to smoke all them yfz 450s in a drag but not loose all of my bottom end

i have just about all bolt ons possible now i would like to get more out of my bike. Im thinking either a 4mill stroker or a good agressive trail port by hur jugs racing. Once i get these will i need to make any other possible upgrades such as a override tranny, lockout clutch????

OK i no this is banshee hq but u guys seem to know about all kinds of quads and im wanting to buy a new one and keep my shee as a "project" i was thinking about getting either a yfz450, articat dvx400, trx450, or a z400 any preferences by u guys and pro and cons please

i have neither i have octane booster tho would that work?

UPDATE i sanded the top of the magnets on the stator and im getting a little spark now and every 10 kicks or so its spitting some air outa the pipes but she still wont turn over wuts gives????

So far ive tested my coil, cdi, stator, kill switch, and it still wont spark. oh yeah and the pickup gap is good but is there another way to test the pickup and what else am i forgeting here

Whats your budget? if there is none id go with a dune port or aggresive trail port, welded crank, 30mm carbs, lrd pipes, k&n air filter keep it in the box but take the top off. Some reeds, advanced timing +4, shave you head to whatever you want your compression to prolly .020 will get you around 145psi depending on your elevation thats all i can think of

How tight is it exactly and yeah thats really not good ive herd of peoples swing arms almost twisting, and that chain wont last long either

The cylinders are in perfect condition no boring needed its 21 years old with probably 50 hours on it. It sat in my garage for about 15 years because i didnt have to time fix the cdi box i know a little lazy but times were rough. And how much do u charge for porting? how much does hjr charge also and how long will my bike be down for

Yeah they dont need to be bored i just wasent sure if it was good or not to do it. Ill get a dune port then will my bottom end be gone? and how long will my stock clutch last

So far my mods are: k&n pods,aftermarket reeds, 4+advanced timing, shaved head, aftermarket cdi, and fmf fatty pipes, i was wondering how much hp i probably have with this set up? Also i want to beef it up and im thinking about boring over(needs to be done) and how much i can bore it over and still be safe i was like .080 over. Then im going to do my porting i was thinking a trail or mx port, then what size carbs should i go with im thinking 28mm. How much hp should i have after doing these mods and im looking for a better top end without the complete loss of my bottom end but i have some to spare

Well i already replaced the cdi and coil. its still not sparking ive went threw and tested most of the wires there all good so im leaning toward the stator i can test the 2 wire for restistance but the others are going into it how can i test my stator to make sure it works and how can i test the resitance for the other 2 wires. im using a multi meter btw. and my kill switch is fine

I got a 87 shee. it quit on me at the sand dunes i already replaced the cdi because im getting gas just no spark. Now i should be getting my coil tommaro how can i test my old coil to make sure thats the problem and is that normally what the problem is??

ive shorted out 2 cdi's and i put a new one on and it still wont work im going to check the grounds and if thats not the problem im going to get a new coil

does anyone have one because i have a loose ground i think and i need to know where all the grounds are
