  1. Not sure I dont have it yet. If I get the parts myself whats it ushally cost for labor or is it something I can do myself.
  2. If i need to use the carb spray to start a cold motor what is wrong. Im going to take them apart and clean, and sync cause i just bought it but I dont want to spray everytime I go out. I figure something has to be adjusted and its a simple fix. Im trying to cover all my bases. By the way when it gets warm its fine, It starts right up. Also when is it time to get a fresh top end. Thanks Ill post picks of the new ride this weekend when i get it.

  4. I can scan and email you the page in the owners Manual that came with my banshee if you would like. It has all the suggested intervals for everything.
  5. If Im reading the manual right it goes by time or hours. Its 150 hours or 6 months. Please correct me if Im wrong or don't know how to read right :biggrin: !
  6. Man I have been reading banshexchjflkaj....cocklovexxx's post this whole morning and have been very entertained, to say the least. He is "that kid in high school". High stress, no friends and can't take a joke. You should really think about what your saying before you post it. Maybe make a rough draft and have your parent's proof read it before you put it on this site. By the sounds of it they have a lot of time on their hands. The "jist" of it all is that you ripping someone off, someone is going to put their hard earned money (that's money they worker for, at a JOB, unlike you) into your piece of shit, and you have no problem with it. Karma will be a bitch to you. Maybe if you knew the value of money you wouldn't feel the need to rip people off. When I was your age I was bailing hey for 5 fucking dollars a load, and if somehow I chose to buy something from a person like you I would be I-RATE! Screw everyone that is trying to defend this little crook, he needs to learn life's little lessons like all of us.
  7. I have only ridden it about 7 times (half day trips) now since I bought it new, so hopefully I dont have to rebuild anytime soon. But thanks for the comments, It comfirms what I though all along. Cant wait for Glamis on thanksgiving, by the way, anyone want to go and need a ride, I have a spot open, Im going by myself, got the ride, trailer, and enough room for one more? Live in Tucson AZ.
  8. So Im just about to send my jugs to hjr for a dune port. The question that I have is if I will be able handle most 450s after spending the $350. I have fatty pipes, +4 timing, noss cool head 21cc, and k&n pods. I just want to make sure that after I do this I wont need to spend any more money to beat most 450s ( I know, their are a lot of variables, rider,conditions ect....ect...ect...you know what I mean). When I say 450s, I mean stock to lightley modded (piped, filter, nothing crazy.) the reason I ask is because if this is not the case then I will spend it on chrome shit and make it look better. I have about $400 to spend, so i was going to do the port or carbs, but since I just installed the tors removal kit I cant bring myself to mess with the carbs just yet. Let me know, from what I read that is the next big thing. I just need confirmation, you know investment advice.
  9. So when i ride the pipe hits the gas valve and vibrates it to the off position, can I just ride with it on reserve all the time?
  10. Ok now Im interested, I have 21 cc domes in my coolhead and stock timing and run straight 91. I have a timing plate that I have yet to install. Reading this thread makes me think that I would need to run a higher octain when i did put the plate on ( at + 4) and it also makes me think that if I got smaller domes, like 19cc ( provided I ran straight 110 octain also) it would have more power. Please give me some insight.

  13. I dont know how long you tried, but when I re-jetted my carbs It seemed to take for ever to getted started again the first time. Like 15 to 20 kicks. I works fine now, ( 1 to 2 kicks when cold) but after rejetting it took awhile.

  22. So I have to know how my shee will compare to the big 450s. I have Pipes, Pods, Cool head, 21cc domes, 13 tooth front, plus 4 timing, and v force 3 reeds. All the basic bolt ons.Now, heres my question, whats faster, a stock 450 of my shee. Lets say its the same rider, going through 5th gear for example from one cone to another, which would be faster. What I getting at is if ridding ability wasn't a factor, the same ridder had five passes with each, which would be faster/have the best time. Both are set up close to perfect. The 450s would be stock like i said, honda, kawasaki, suzuki, ktm, polaris, yamaha.
  23. I was talking to Jeff at F.A.S.T. and he recomended doing all the bolt-ons first before porting. I had $500 to spend and had the same idea about porting compared to bolt ons. I went with a cool head, timming plate, and V-Forces instead. He is a really helpful guy so you might want to give him a call.
