  1. who built the chassis? why are you selling it? any idea how much it weighs? will you ship?
  2. looks good. i made a couple sets similar to them before. When I made mine i took the ID of the pipe just past the flange. I also made the cylinder the same diameter so there was no disruption in flow.
  3. check this one out http://media.photobucket.com/video/Owned%2...=homepagequadv2
  4. dont know if anyones seen this, but i almost pissed myself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXIm1p8X5fA
  5. i have a set of t-5's and a stock airbox if you wanna trade for the 2-1 setup. i can get you pics Monday.
  6. im sure that the bigger carbs will net you more power, especially with the drag pipes, i cannot however quote you any magic numbers either. If your planning on draggin only, those 34's are gonna restrict that huge motor. in short, carbs are worth the upgrade, but if you cannot afford it now, you can always add em later.
  7. im gonna let you guys on a little secret  lol if you want to run a non-lockup use these springs http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Motorcycle...p4506.m20.l1116 they are off of an older yamaha street bike xs1100?? they test at around 90lbs, and there cheap as hell!! the highest spring that i have found for the banshee is 80lbs-85lbs (i think rdz maybe??) standard HD springs are around 60lbs and the stockers around 30lbs. you will need longer bolts and something to shim the spring out with, i used a couple of regular lock washers that were small enough to fit into the spring to extend the stand, otherwise the spring will be into coil bind and will not work at all. hope this helps!!!! p.s. you better have a EZ pull or equivalent perch cause that SOB is hard to pull (never bothered me much but everyone that rode my bike complained)

    SEX

looks like a girl i went to high school with lol
  9. would this condition worsen if the timing was advanced, say 4-6 degrees??? thanks
  10. boyesen dual stage, then boyesen single stage both no stops and now VF2's. i havent pulled the Vforces out yet to inspect them yet. OEM yamaha reeds? who ports the cages and does the reed stop trimming? do you have any pics? thanks for the replys
  11. thanks ok lol, gald to have refreshed your memory. we havent raced the RX7 in a long time, think we set a record in 92? good luck
  12. has anyone with a high port timing drag motor had a problem with the bike being especially hard on reeds, i only get like 5 runs to a set
  13. anybody ever get any results on these?
  14. we used to run nitrogen in the tires when we were road racing the RX-7 because the nitrogen doesnt change pressure as it gets hot
  15. compression check??
  16. i got mine through dave, couldnt be happier. go 1-5 duneable i love the neutral down
  17. what the hell is a Mr. fusion kit? and were can i find one???
  18. if your running good gas id check into the size of the dome or the timing, go ahead and install the billet impeller, its cheap insurance. if you dont feel like pulling the motor down to check the domes, put the timing back to stock and see if it helps. do you have a temp gauge on it? if your running the VP you shouldnt have an overheating problem (it is a slower burn than regular gas). keep us updated
  19. i second that, i wasnt sure at first but after running one i'll prolly never go back. go duneable. the +4 is a drop in, the +7 requires trenching and i think anything over that requires case modfication (ie welding etc)
  20. depends on your riding style and where you ride. i ran 34mm mikuni's with toomeys for awhile. seemed to work out pretty good. dont know how it would compare to a single carb setup, as i have never ran one.
  21. i just installed the shearers huge difference in power from the previous pipes. i purchased mine direct and didnt have any problems with fit or finish. i can actually adjust my left carb without having to take it off (it was all jacked up into the pipe before).
  22. i ran one of those for while, its a decent chain, but not a real common one, good luck finding another masterlink if you happen to ever lose yours
  23. never mind: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FRONT-SPROC...sspagenameZWD1V
