  1. Yeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaawww!!! Who's Rosco - your bro? Hopefully he can come out and blow the dust of that 'ol '07.
  2. Long shot - I know. Anyone know the best spot to ride in Ontario? Right now I'm leaning towards La Tuque (http://atv.off-road.com/atv/article/articleDetail.jsp?id=191994) Any thoughts? Looking for great trails, accomodation, food & nightlife. Thanks.
  3. As you prolly know, 90 is the last year. If I paying for the bike (+ shipping to Canada), I might as well get the last year. Looking for original decals, etc. The one I provided the link to in Dallas sold to some guy in Alaska. That is the exact bike I'm after (original decals, fenders aren't cut, etc.) Thanks guys!
  4. really after a 90, are you selling your 87? Wouldn't mind seeing pics if you have some.
  5. As per subject, looking for 100% stock, original, 1990 Quadzilla, in excellent condition. Something like this: http://www.dallassuperads.com/atvs_Classif..._Quadracer.aspx Please PM me if know if you have or know of one for sale. Thank you.
  6. OK guys, I did the follow as per your instruction: 1) Turn the air screw out 1 turn from being all the way in. (this really confused me as I had thought it would cause a greater bog, instead it help take it away - not completely, but definitely helped. Weird. What am I missing?) 2) Took the boost bottle off and carefully inspected the rubber. Everything appears fine. I replaced the boost bottle with the original cross-over pipe. Also, the backfire appears to be gone, but the bike does seem to be running a little lean when revving. Sound right? Hence the instruction to install 27.5 pilots? Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. The bog is at an idle, when I give the bike a quick shot of gas. Took the air box lid off and same problem. If I hold it at around 2000rpm and then crack it, it backfires. Seems as though it's getting too much fuel. Needle is at stock position. Runs fine through the gears. Would moving up to 27.5 pilots not give it more fuel? Might take the boost bottle of, but I would think that would be giving it more air, not taking away from. Have read mixed reviews on these things though. Thanks.
  8. Hey Guys - late on this, but I've got a few blog posts regarding helmet cameras. www.loneatv.com The trouble with the gopro cam is that you never know whether it is truly on or not. At least with the Vholdr there is a audible beep - as well, they just released an HD version. www.vholdr.com
  9. Somehow, I've got a small bog, opened the air screws up to 2.5 turns - is this bad? Should I be dropping to 250s? Thanks.
  10. Cool, thanks! Did you try your's yet Kawa110?
  11. as per subject, have some fmf fatties with plastic from boots burnt on them. Any ideas on how to remove? Thanks.
  12. tried 240's, seemed a little lean. Switched to 260s and shee's running great! Thanks!
  13. Going to try 240s... Everything else stock.
  14. bump - anyone? Looking to get this thing running right now.
  15. Yes, running a lid, with no snorkel. +15 to +30 degrees. thanks!
  16. Hey Guys, Please provide jetting advice for the following setup: Elevation: 285.4ft (Ottawa, Canada) durablue air filter fmf fatty pipes/silencers - powercore II boost bottle boyeseen reeds (I think) Thank you, Doug.
  17. Tried this and no luck. Sooo...I took my stock set of TORS carbs that the bike runs perfectly with and drilled them out and installed the TORS eliminator kit in them. Bike started up fine!. The only thing I can think of is that one of the carb bodies is defective. I took some photos and showed where the casting underneath the fuel valve is formed imperfectly in a previous post. Thanks for your help guys - appreciate it.
  18. No...(?)....I thought no wires had to be cut to elminate TORS? The previous owners cut the wire that previous went to the thumb throttle. Other than this, the TORS is "unplugged". I did try plugging in the electrical connection on the TORS carbs to the bike, with the NON-TORS carbs installed and it made no difference.
  19. The nightmare continued. So, summers here and now and I want to run with TORS removed. So I took the carbs & tors out and popped in the carbs with the TORS removed, but this time I verified that the slides are in the correct carbs. Same goddamn problem! I can't believe it. - Made sure the choke sync tube is on. - Took floats from a working machine and installed them. - Put new main & pilot jets in. - Carbs are perfectly clean (because I've gone through this at least 30 times now) - There are no air leaks. - The TORS eliminate screw is tight. - Took the slides and needle from a working machine and installed them. So, in a nutshell. Bike runs excellent with "TORS Carbs". Pop the "NO TORS Carbs" in it doesn't run worth a damn. (requires the choke to run). I really don't know what else is left to try. With the exception of the one carb body, these things are nearly all new! (I already replaced 1 carb body) I hate to give up on this and would truly like to know what the problem is. Any suggestions? My next action is to take the "TORS Carbs" and drill them for "NO TORS". *big sigh*
  20. Hi - as per subject, looking for the following: Toomey t5's (pipes/silencers) -no dents -excellent condition Reeds Air Filter Please let me know what you have. Pics & price. Thank you.
  21. Hey there - thanks for the reply - sounds good. No, don't need pics, presuming everything is in good shape? -the ridge for the metal clamp on the boots is in good condition - the one's I have now weren't put on properly and the ridge has been wrecked so the clamp tends to slide off a little. -the thumb throttle includes the complete assembly - i.e., spring, nut, etc. Can I pay you through an email transfer? Any ideas on best way to ship? thanks.
  22. - Stock brass colored clips that hold tors cap on. - Stock thumb throttle (complete assembly, spring, etc.) - Carb to airbox rubber boots. cheap, shipped to Canada. thanks.
  23. took a peak at the manual....small machine holes in slides must line up with carb window. o.k, looks like I'm taking the current carbs off to try this and see if it was the issue.
  24. Hi - sorry for the delay and thank you for the post. Once I got it running I got excited for a few months and road the 'shee a bit. Curiosity has me back to this issue. When you mentioned the slides being swapped or in the incorrect carbs, my first thought was that both slides are the same, but after carefully looking at them they are different. How do I know which slide goes in which carb?
