  1. Hi Guys, Anyone have a 2008 Banshee pdf? I want the factory jetting for a bone stock (only exception is a K&N filter) Banshee running at 114 meters. Thanks.
  2. Unplugging the TORS box did it! Yahoo! I have spark!!! Does this mean that the TORS box is fried? Do I need to replace it? (I don't want to do the TORS removal yet)
  3. Yes, that is the link guide I followed. Will try unplugging the TORS. I guess it does kill spark to accomplish it's job? Will look at the pick up & it's gap. Thanks!
  4. Hi Guys, I'm not getting any spark on my Banshee. I've read through and followed the banshee electrical guide, but had a couple of questions: 1. Does the TORS system eliminate spark? (I wondering if I can disconnect the TORS wiring to see if something TORS related is causing the problem) 2. Does anyone know what the resistance should be on the Orange and Black wires that go to the coil? I've tried my friends coil, spark plug boots, cdi, etc., and tested the stator and nothing fixes the issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Doug.
  5. Finally figured this out....stupidly, it was the carrier bolts - they where slightly loose. Enough to cause that horrible goddamn sound. I'm putting her back together now. Thanks for the help fellas.
  6. No sound when jump up and down in bike, only side to side - thought maybe someone had heard this noise before...can't be the only bansaw this has occurred on.
  7. I've done that - normally I'd see play somewhere, but I don't see anywhere.....
  8. Hey Guys, Think this is the swingarm bearing that needs replacing? I'm not seeing any movement, which is making this difficult to figure out. Axle seems fine as well. Thanks.
  9. Finally getting around to replying - bike runs extremely well with this kit. I would recommend it.
  10. Hey Man - sorry for the crazy delay. Well, to make a very long story short, I've got the motor in the bike ready to go, but this time around I am using some sort of EGT setup to help ensure I don't have an engine failure.
  11. Hi Guys, I've got the new build setup: 421 Cub 4mm stroker 24cc Domes 39mm Keihin Carbs Shearer sb in-frame pipes/silencers vforce 3 reeds k&n filters elevation - 374ft /114meters Any suggestions on main, pilot & needle settings? Thanks.
  12. Thanks for the input guys. I spoke briefly with my friend and he mentioned it was a "stutter box" which caused the engine to "hesitate". I'll do some more digging and pick something up. It can't hurt.
  13. I guess that is your snide way of saying you aren't aware of a product like this.
  14. Hi There, I want to run EGTs on my bike to prevent it from blowing up. Of course, jetting will be correct, however, I want to have a failsafe. Having said this, can anyone recommend an EGT that a) doesn't need batteries and will kill the motor in the event it is running too hot? (I have a friend who told me about EGT's he had on his sled that offered this feature) Thank you.
  15. Thanks, will check it out. Does anyone know brand of swing arm this is?
  16. Thanks for the replies. I'll give the rod stock a shot.
  17. Hey Guys - anyone know what type of swing arm this is? It's a +4 finished in chrome that is chipping ; ) I'm trying to identify it so I can get the proper tool for adjusting the carrier. (see the holes to the left of the carrier) The previous owner used a screwdriver by the looks of it and made a mess.
  18. As per subject. Ideally red, silver or black. Thanks.
  19. Fair enough - will do this and report back. Thank you for the info!
  20. Thanks for the responses guys. Tyler, I followed the jetting instructions from Toomey (they said to use a 25): http://www.toomey.com/html/t5-inst.htm Do you still think the pilot is too small? Surfrjag, I checked the floats and measured them to ensure they where exactly 21mm. Thank you!
