im here daily. I found a nice small 250r forum called Rriders.com, there's no website its just a forum. The moderator is cool, the forums are very free speech. no sensorship like other atv forums. R-riders reminds me alot BansheeHQ, not overmoderated, just perfect. everyone with a 250r or 450r should check out r-riders. Bitch is, R-riders has been offline for about 2 weeks. Don't know what happened, check out R-Riders.com yep, white '89 with the silver vein frame. Its in peices now. Iv been working on a bent subframe the previous owner failed to tell me about. I got it purty damn close to perfect, but I think it still needs more tweak'age. I have the seat latch peice removed from the subframe and im using a long section of pipe to leverage the subframe back into shape. I got it looking pretty good, but the subframe still leans slightly to the right. I have the swingarm off, the chain is off, the handlebars have been replaced with Pro tapers and a twist throttle with Spider grips. Got a new set of brake pads all the way around it, I don't have them on yet tho. Got a brand new PRM belly skid to match the front PRM bumper and grab bar. Chris Borich lives right down the road from me, so I bought his aluminum radiator shrouds that he ran on last year's #2 gncc 250r. They're used, but they're still in nice shape, got big ol' red "RPM" and "HI-PER" stickers on em, looks cool as hell. Also just picked up a QuadTech carbon fiber hood scoop, the one with the little billet grill up front. I got it mounted yesterday, looks really good. The quad's coming along, Iv been putting alot of work into it the past few weeks. The previous owner spray painted a bunch of stuff bright ORANGE. So iv been working on removing that paint. he's got the spindles painted, the brake calipers painted, the hubs, the brake ressy, you name it...he's got it painted orange. so that sucks, but its almost gone. I'll have to post some pictures soon.

How does the guy figure this is a "1987" model ? What could possibly be left from 1987 on this quad? and the 250x motor.... it sucks balls. dude that motor is so freakin' weak, my lawnmower has more horsepower. My Blaster is faster than my buddys old 250x. You'll have to toss that X motor and pick up nice built 250r motor for that chassis. Figure the X motor is worth about 500 bucks. Figure that frame is used condition is worth about 900 bucks. Figure used LSR arms and Axis shocks are worth about 1000 bucks. Figure the dominator axle is worth about 250 bucks. Figure the Roll swingarm around 400 bucks. Figure the stem, ft hubs and stabilzer around 350. 150 for the stem, 150 for da hubs and the stabilzer for 50. Figure the beadlocks are worth around 250 for the set. Prolly have around 500 or so in accessories like the pro pegs and the brake upgrades, handlebars etc etc. $500 $900 $1000 $250 $400 $350 $250 $500 $4150 added up. Plan on getting really bored with that 250x motor, so factor in the additional 500 bucks for an average 250r motor, or $1500 for a nice built one. hope that makes things clearer for you. Im pretty close on the price of those 250r parts, I follow em on Ebay.

I don't know anything about either guy involved here, but I believe YBR just as much as I believe sparkzilla's story. Maybe the MO got lost in the mail, maybe some postal worker nabbed it and cashed it in, maybe it got delivered to some dude in another state, maybe.... just maybe Sparkzilla is the one doing the screwing here . The man said he didnt get the MO. gotta take his word.... Until you can prove that he recieved&cashed the MO, his story is just a good as Sparkzilla's story. well said, and I agree. I consider myself way more anti-Bush than pro-Kerry. Since a vote for Nader is not gonna happen, Im voting for the Democrats. Both my parents and the majority of my family are working middle class Pennsylvanians and are life long Democrats. Its Kerrys turn. And trust me, if John Kerry invades Mongolia and screws up, I'll vote him out of office in '08. Im willing to gamble with Kerry. Don't let the "Kerry will close your riding area" issue blurr out the big picture. I highly doubt that a President can say "no more snomobiles in Yellowstone" and the next day its law. It doesnt work that way. The govt works on checks and ballances. If there is a group that protests the closings, then democracy kicks into action and we(repubs and dems) keep our riding areas open. If everyone here would get politically involved when enviromentalists threaten your riding areas, we would win every battle with them. The enviromentalists see this issue with the same passion we have, they are voicing thier opinions and they are getting riding areas closed.

Nightrider I know where your coming from man. Times are hard in Pa too, our unemployment rate is higher than the national 6% average too. Its like 12 %. Osama Bin Laden, the head cheif terrorist is healthy and still sending us video's, 3+ years after 9\11. 1100 dead americans in Iraq. No bid contracts, and corruption at Haliburton, which will be challenged by Americans who believe that practice was wrong. Our National Guard is tied up in Iraq, driving trucks while they should be here protecting the homeland. The National gaurdsmen are made up of older Americans with familys and full time jobs, now they have been torn from thier families and sent on suicide missions in an unjust war. The United States that stood together so strongly in the days and weeks after 9\11 is now split 50-50 based on Bush's policys. One thing Mr. Bush will be remember for is dividing the country in a time where we should be standing together, but im sure you republicans can make an excuse for that too.
