i have a -2 incher on mine and I like it. You gotta pay attention if your on a steep hill or a hill with good traction, the front end gets light.
see if this helps answer your question... I got hills all over the place here, i live right on the side of a mountain ... theres' this one big hill I like to rip up, its 60 yards of rocks and steep all the way to the top. I used to hit this hill up with my standard length swingarm all the time, I know how to ride this hillclimb, I know how the quad reacts to the hill, I know where the big rocks are hidden, etc etc... the front end was light but the front tires stayed on the ground for most of the climb. With the -2 swingarm on I could immediatly see a difference on the hill. Now the front tires just skimmed the ground.... hill is 60 yards long.... wick the throttle and she'll wheelie at will, its kinda dangerous if your not used to riding a big bore banshee with a shorty swingarm up a big rocky hill You need to be paying attention, pay attention and the -2 is great for climbing. I prefer the -2 over stock for this particular hillclimb. I like riding on the edge of that wheelie, flyin up the hill. Its just more fun'er
