not a quad but.....

Ben, this race is right up the road from me. Iv' been to two of em this year and its cool, its still a small series, but there's enough racers out there to make it a good event. Dale, the tracks are cool as hell, keep em wide, they're more fun to race. AGP's last race of the season is in my hometown. Irish Valley MX is hosting it. C'mon Pa guys, lets go racing this event.

i wanna add... the lonestar axle I have on my Banshee, never failed me yet. Not a single problem yet with the LSR axle.

I have a lonestar and an RPM Dominator. The Dominator makes the LoneStar axle look like a stock axle. If I'd have to choose between the two brands.... I'd buy the RPM axle, no doubt. The RPM axle I have is an XC specific axle so its supposed to be beefy, but there is no taper to the axle, from the bearing carrier area to the hubs, its nearly the same diameter, while the LSR axle tapers like the stock axles do.

Holy shit look what the cat drug in. Holyman where the hell have you been hiding all this time. Im another believer in Amsoil. Been running thier injector oil in my Rz for the past coupla years without a single problem. I put 7000 miles on the Rz and burnt Amsoil the whole time. I also run in my 250r and ran it in my Banshee for many years. The shit works great for me, so Im not switchin' anytime soon.

cliktobuy thats some good info. thanks. I bought an Eastwood gun and one of Eastwoods infrared heaters. I won em on Ebay about a year ago and never used em yet. The infrared light\heater is pretty expensive. I personally wouldnt have bought the infrared setup, but the guy sold the gun and heater together, so I got em both. The guy I bought the stuff from said he only used the infrared heater to do large items like motorcycle frames. Told me I'd need to buy a tempeture gun to monitor the temps when using the infrared heater. I prolly won't be using the infrared heater much, if at all. Any more tips and tricks ????

What about airpressure ? Do you just spray it once to cover it, or do you lay on in 2 or 3 coats to get er thick. I mean, how do you know you have enough powder on the part ??

Please give any information or tips & tricks about powdercoating in your garage. I bought an Eastwood PC gun and need to learn the PC process. Airpressure used is my biggest question. Also would like to hear how you do a job from start to finish. danka

thank you NP I know I said this before, but Im that whole yellow banshee is going to be parted out. I just can't bring myself to do it. I have three quads, a dirtbike and a streetbike and two vehicles, one being a sportscar. I have to downsize my collection, I'd like to buy a house and reclaiming my garage & downsizing my quad stuff needs to be a priority.

Khunle switched to a YFZ this season. And BenBB, no more Texas GNCC. They didnt have one this season and Im assuming none are scheduled for the future. The VAST majority of GNCC racers are east coaster and well, Texas is kinda far from the east coast. I also heard that attendance was low at the Texas GNCC. The farthest west the GNCC series goes is Missouri, and that race is TOMORROW !!!
