  1. When your setting the beads, do they make a loud pop ?
  2. congrats T. Nice one. I'v spent over 14 hours in the stand and seen one fuckin doe so far. I should be out there right now
  3. You can't forget the details of this hill because its surrounded by the town of shamokin. Do you remember the hill being literally surrounded by houses and buildings and traffic and businesses ?
  4. "I've never seen people so sensitive about a pile of coal." Come on man. Its not about the pile of coal. I shouldn't have to explain this but... lets say that I just broke the record lap time at the biggest cross country race in the States. Many people seen me break the record and for a few years I am known as the record holder. Then... out of the blue, some new guy comes by the track and says, 'yeah, I went faster around the track 4 years before the current record lap time was set". And then he goes on to say that he has no proof. Do you see where I'm going with this ?? Look, no one is losing sleep over your claim, no one is stirring up drama. This is an open forum and people just want to know what is true and what is false. Maybe you were confused on which hill you climbed, maybe you were not. But get used to getting your comments fact checked and your balls busted whenever you make a unverifiable claim on the internet.
  5. Besides the Raptor wreck in this therad, have you seen any other videos of the Glen Burn hill climb ? Did you take the same hill to the top that is in the other videos ? edit: check out this video and us know if this is the hill you did.
  6. You didn't climb the Glen Burn 4 years ago. You prolly got your big coal banks confused. Hell, you lived 50 miles away.
  7. I could be wrong. Maybe he did climb it. Superwire, post up some pictures or video. I would think that if someone was going to climb this hill back in 2006, they would have a brought along a camera.
  8. I smell it too. Iv got 38 years living in Shamokin, I live a dozen or so blocks away from the glen burn and before PabansheeMatt and his crew started climbing in 2009, there was only one other guy that I know that tried it. His name is Dan and he lives up here by me on Walnut Street, you local guys prolly know who Dan is, he's an older guy, prolly mid 40's and he did the hill around 2004 on a dirt bike setup for hill climb competitions. Dan's the guy who ran the hillclimber bike with the GSXR motor. Dan used to have a bad ass, all white, 2 stroke KTM 550 and a Quadzilla, now he's into trials bikes. Everyone that rode around here knows that Dan was one of the first guys to attempt it and make it up the Glen Burn. Then from Dans attempts in '04 or '05, I've never heard of, or seen anyone even attempt the Glen Burn until the Banshee guys started climbing it last year. Pics... or it didn't happen. Sorry
  9. This is my 18th season. Iv shot a shitpile of does, a handfull of scrappy bucks, but no big ones yet.
  10. When did you climb the Glen Burn ??

  13. My buddy wrecked and bent his Flexx bars and Fasstco told him he's shit out of luck, to throw em away and buy another set. He bent the one side of bars, the rest of the bars were fine, so he called Fasstco looking for a replacement for the right side handlebar. They told him they don't sell replacement part and he'll have to buy a whole new set of bars. He pleaded with them that all he needed was just the right hand bar section and they told him because of liability issues, they can't sell him just that section of bar. So that pissed off my buddy. So he decides he's going to try to replace the bent part by buying a section of alum tubing and fixing it himself. Turns out that the aluminum bar is nearly impossible to get out of its mount. There were roll pins that were impossible to work on, and when he got the bar out, the bar has a taper on it, so he couldn't use his aluminum tube that he bought. No one sells replacement parts either. Bend one and you got yourself one hellava project to fix it. He sold the fuckers and bought the Precision bar clamps and loves em, says they work just as good, if not better than the Flexx bars and they're half the price. Here's a video we shot of the Precision bar clamps. If you have any questions about the Precision bar clamps or the difficulties he had with FasstCo, just leave a comment on the video and he will reply.

  18. Thanks for the replies. Iv had a dude come up to the Gap last week and ask me what tires I recommend for climbing the coal banks and I couldn't give em a good answer. thanks again for the input. We have two set of Dominators and something like 14 of 15 sets of Swampers. Anyone else got an opinion on rear tires ? How bout the Cyclones ?
  19. Just like the title says... whats your opinion on rear tire choices for climbing the coal banks.
  20. Damn that wreck was pretty scary. What happened ? Looks like his brakes didn't work
  21. Read the label on the bottle of oil, if the manufacture has a recommended ratio, or range of ratios, use their ratio recommendation, as the oil company formulated their oil to be mixed at that specific ratio. If there's no specific recommendation on the bottle, then 32:1 is cool for non-synthetics and 40 or 50:1 is cool for synthetic oils. And always check & adjust your jetting when switching ratios. A higher mix ratio like 50:1 will make her run richer than a lower ratio like 20:1.
  22. what brand of oil are you using ?
  23. Right on
