I love my Hiper rims. I bought mine new in 2006 and I'm still using them today. I haven't had any problems with em until about a month ago when I finally cracked one of my rear rims. But I can't complain, I beat the hell out of those rims. The trails here in eastern Pa are really rocky, my rings are beat to hell, all gouged up real bad. I put a lot of miles on those rims before I broke one. And another nice thing about HiPers is that my cracked rim is fixable. The rims are modular, so you just replace whatever breaks. I've used aluminum rims for 20 years and I've bent em all. My fronts have a 4:1 offset. Guys riding in the woods who want a narrow front choose the 4:1 offset. Any XC built quad will have that 4:1 offset. The 4:1 narrows up the front but its main purpose is the help tame bumpsteer. Go with a wider offset if you're riding wide open spaces. I forget what my rear offset is, but its near the stock wheel's offset numbers.

GNCC and XC racers have been using these for 6 or 7 years now with success. Like mentioned, the dual setup has problems with packing up with mud and stuff, but someone(not a company, but some dude online) has made a small little brush system that he calls 'the guard dog" that cleans out the dual guard setup. You can get the Guard Dog brushes through GT-Thunder. LoneStar sells single stainless steel guards, all of the dual guards are aluminum, dual stainless guards are a lot of heavy rotating mass. I've heard that the design of some of the newer the dual guard are vented to allow debris to exit easier, so drill some holes/cut some slots in the design.

rz cases have gears for a tach, not a speedo and they also have provisions to hook up a neutral light indicator.

Here's my setup. I had to make a little plate for the mount because of the goofy ass design of my visor.

I tried mounting mine to the side with that same mount with the two pivot points but I can't get the camera out away from the helmet far enough. If I raise the mounts higher up on the helmet, it still hits my helmet plus it sits behind my roll off cans. If the little arms on my side mount were a little longer it would work for me. I didn't know if there was some trick I was missing or what...

I run mine on the top. I'd like to see how you guys have em mounted on the side. Can you use Roll off cans on your goggles when the camera is mounted on the side of the helmet ?

One day left in the auction.

They are 19 inches from center of eyelet to center of eyelet. They will need fresh gas and oil. They have been sitting on my shelf for 2 years, so it was around early '08 the last time the oil was changed.

I do not know. They were bought as a package deal with a set of Roll Design A-arms. The shocks are supposed to be setup for the Roll arms and the guy I bought em from is a well known 250R racer, so I'm pretty sure the shocks are setup for the Roll Arms. I'm sure if you contact Custom Axis and tell em what shocks I have, they could answer your question.
