  1. Wow, check out this wacky movie. Brainwashing techniques on children, scaring children into serving the army of god, preaching to 8 year olds that Harry Potter is a warlock and god would put harry potter to death for being a warlock. And then there's the evangelical christain extremists and thier dedication to George W Bush. "JESUS CAMP", THE MOVIE
  2. Yes, im using 400ex spindles, but I have the caliper adapters so I run the dual piston 250r calipers. Check it out... I disassebled these 250r calipers and powdercoated them flat black. They came out better than I hoped for. pictures don't do em justice. The billet piece in the picture is the 400ex-to-250r caliper adapter. Those adapters aint cheap.
  3. hey guys im spreadin the word... I have a nice set of '88 250r spindles for sale on Ebay. I powdercoated them gloss black wrinkle and they havent been mounted since they were sprayed. -denny http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...6626&rd=1,1

    Tire Balls

your buddy Cody must be pretty good. those guys he's racing against are all very good GNCC racers. McGill and Rice are Pro gncc racers and Sommers won this past gncc seasons "4 stroke A" class. Brandon Sommers is Laz Sommers boy, laz owns Gt Thunder. The 4 stroke A class is one of the top classes, Sommers might be moving up a class this year. Pickens is also a gncc racer, but I don't know much about him. yea if your buddy cody is racing along side these guys, cody's got to be one hellava racer. good info on the walmart balls, find out what lbs to inflate em too. I'll try the damn things out.
  7. did you get a firewire cable yet ?

    Tire Balls

those tire balls, they are worth thier weight in gold. We ran a full set at this years Maxxis 12 hour race and boy was it nice not having to worry about tire changes. They worked great for us. Every Pro XC racer runs em and tons of amauteurs too. The tire balls came onto the scene about 2 years ago, they're a relativly new product. You can find used sets on Ebay pretty cheap... .... and if I could beat this dead horse a little longer... next time you talk to Cody Buchanan, ask him what series he races and what class he races in. I couldnt find his name in ANY of the gncc classes last year and im 100% sure he's not racing the Pro class in the GNCC circuit.
  9. I got my firewire card on ebay for somethin' like 10 bucks shipped and it has 4 ports. It didnt come with a cable tho, so I head up to the local Wal-mart and holy crap they wanted $25 bucks for a firewire cable. Ebay is the only way to go if your a cheap-ass like me  Oh and on my 'puter, my firewire connection is WAY faster than my USB 2.0 connection.
  10. ya man, I wasnt fired up at anything you wrote, it was when "87sheerips" wrote that the motor was a joke that caught my attention. 87sheerips, I love ya man, ya got my respect and all, but let me tell yas, when Im riding my Banshee.... and im bizzin' down one of the big wide open coal haul roads in 4th gear and wick the throttle and terrain and trees start flyin' by, and my eyes are waterin' and the motor is pullin' so damn hard.... and I got a huge smile on my face, the last thing I'm thinking is "this motor is a joke". The facts are, my 404 setup runs great, and is alot of fun. Iv put ALOT of hours on the top end before I had a piston ring get welded\stuck in its groove, and it still runs pretty good with the stuck ring, just blows a bunch of blue smoke on that side till she warms up. Iv had alot of fun and have been riding it for years on the original set of pistons, and when I heard ya call it a "joke", I had to tell the folks my opinion. I have about 5 years of riding on my 404 motor and its not the fastest thing on a 300 foot race, but its hardly a joke. If at anytime I thought the 404 was junk, I would not be afraid to tell yas. Iv said before that I would not buy a 404 kit.... any big bore kit.... unless you need a resleeve. My juggs were at .080 at the time and a bore job wasnt going to clean em up, so I needed to resleeve my juggs, or a whole new setup that would of cost me three times as much as the $500 dollar 404cc kit.
  11. I have both motors, an stock RZ350 with a set of pipes and a Vito's 404(392cc) with porting, pipes, Nosshead and V-Force reeds. The Rz350 motor is run in my streetbike and the 404 motor is in my Banshee. The 404 KILLS the Rz350. The power on the rz is smooth and the gearing is meant for more top speed, but the power delevery is alot more fun with the 404 motor. As far as the guy sayin' the 404 is a joke, I'd like to know if you own one of these motors ?? Ya got any first hand experience wit em .... meaning, have you run a 404 motor for any length of time, like a years worth of riding with a 404 motor, or is your experience wit em, watchin some guy drag race, reading info on the forums or perhaps a quick spin on sum dudes 404 one time ?? Saying the 404 setup is joke is a completly wrong statement. My 404 is super reliable, very strong in the mid range and overall runs pretty damn good. If the motor is going to be used for drag racing, there are better setups out there, but calling the 404 motor a "joke" .... I have to disagree. Wanna see some videos' of a ported 404 beaing 4mm strokers ?? Def not a joke. Not everyone needs or wants a motor that gets ya to 300 feet the fastest.
  12. I bought a 200 watt ricky stator for the Coalfest ride a few years ago and the damn thing never worked. When Id swap out the RS stator for a stock one, it ran great, swap back the RS and nothing. I still have the POS sittin on a shelf in my garage, I didnt send it back fast enough and the warrenty ran out. Id like to buy a high output stator for my 250r, but Im half afraid to trust RS anymore.

  16. you cant use a Cr500 linkage with a stock framed banshee, only specific aftermarket frames can use the cr500 link. You also need a swingarm designed for the cr500 link.

  18. cool. get lots of pics !! .... and BTW, when is your motor coming back from kansas ?? How do you like the long travel laegers in the rough stuff ? do you have the laegers t-pin setup ?? Whats the eye to eye length on your front shocks ?? just curious. Im looking for a set of 17.5 length. I wonder how the elka linkage reacts to longer or shorter swingarms.

  20. There's no one named Buchanan that is racing the Pro class in GNCC racing, let alone placing in the top 6.
