  1. any chance bowls are going dry or low?
  2. I could provide space if you want it.
  3. do people replace crank seals regularly to prevent this? (I have heard of many bad crank shaft seal melts) How often should you replace them?
  4. Most of the damage was to the frame, which I have welded and retapped larger. My peg is bent a little bit. I think I am going to see how bad it feels and just bend it back and weld a reinforcement if necessary. But, I will keep you i mind if I decide to replace it. Man that is a thik piece of metal for me to bend with my body! Mike
  5. Jugriggs: You say you don't know how to jump, but that definately didn't keep you from hitting it hard anyway. You are hard core. I don't know much, but you really need to shift your weight back while you are jumping and make sure you aren letting off the throttle right before the jump. If I am trying to keep my nose up (you can see how much in the vids) to keep my nose from bottoming, I tend to get a little slower then I want to jump, then accellerate into the jump and shift my weight back enough to get the angle I want. Maybe it is time to start a thread on this to get good input.
  6. I have a whole pile of excuses why my jumps weren't as good. Anyone want to hear them? Got my frame welded up on Monday, and decided to just retap the frame for bigger bolts for now, and do a more proper fix later. I felt a little dirty cracker-rigging it, but it doesn't effect my ability to do it right later. I also need to figure out how much stuff I am going to put back in after my pancake landing. Damn! lost the lid to my overflow bottle. Maybe that will stay out.
  7. Check out Misssppellleddd
  8. I added more videos to the jumps directory on My Web server Also in the tube and on that server I added a Jumps compilation.
  9. This won't be up for ever, but I put the original (large) video files on a web server for you. When I get the rest of the videos from misspelled, I will add them to the jumps directory. Badlands videos
  10. Too bad we didn't my attempt at shattering my left testicle on video from landing flat. I looked, and I bottomed out hard enough that the rear shock knocked a bunch stuff back there. Trying to decide if I am going to put a overflow bottle back in or not. Foot peg repairs are underway. Not good when you land hard enough to bend the thick ass steel of the footpeg. (I think it is like 3/8" )
  11. A lot of the speed and cost comes from the stickers. My 3 year old likes it.
  12. I have the video processed but won't upload most until Monday. The best of the videos fell victi to a snafu. When misspelled made a copy, it removed them from the memory card. Hopefully I can get a copy back from him. The only one from the Jump sequence was jugriggs nosing in on the long table. I posted that to the tube. Jugriggs on the tube

  14. Nobody likes the pipes, bus since you just asked about sound... DG's sound pretty good.
  15. I am coming for sure if the weather is within reason. Someone was asking if there was a 4 mil coming. I am bringing one. Are people brining any 4-stroke friends, or are we leaving them at the gate? Mike
  16. I'll check them, but it really appears as if the right side is pulling backwards in adjustment (the opposite direction that the keeper holds it. The swinger looks straight.
  17. At first, I thought I was streching my chain, but after a few times, I realized that my back end is getting misaligned. It appears that the right side is sliding back. As a result, the chain loosens, and the rear axel is misaligned. I made sure it was torqued according to spec. That didn't help. I got a new bolt and washers.... didn't help. I even filed the surfaces to make sure I had a good mate of the bolt/washers. Is this a common problem on higher then stock banshees or is there another solution?
  18. It isn't that no one has them. We just dont speak up because the second we do, a flock of seagulls come swooping in squalking about how we are idiots for not going immediatly to our computers and drop $600 to buy some pipes that dont completely suck. No you can't have my scilencers. PS: dont even say the words "boost bottle" you will regret it
  19. It might be nice to keep the old ones for hot spares.
  20. I need to buy new rear tires and am considering Razr MX. I was wondering if it is a bad idea to use cheap rims. I was thinking it would be nice to have the tires arrive mounted and ready to go, and if I buy cheap rims it doesn't change the price much. (probably less thean the cost to get them mounted) Will I likely see problems if I get douglas .125 or .160 rims riding light MX and some trails? What will go wrong? bend them easily? do the cheap ITP rims do any better?
  21. I am about 60% sure I will be able to come. I have not been there in a few months.
  22. Well. How did it go?
  23. I think they are close to $20 for flags. The price went up if you like the MX track, you now have to pay for access to that. No badlands for me this weekend. I think I am going to try taylorville instead. (I wish casey wasn't all races)
  24. that does not make sense . oh no... the the dreaded chuwbacca defense. You must acquit
  25. I have a set. I like the way they sound... meatier than toomeys. The chrome near the cylendars is not holding up really well. It is hard to get to the petcock without touching the pipe. They get in the way a little when changing plugs. I don't have a good power comparison, but no one has ever been disappointed by the performance when they ride it (but what do they know either)
