  1. Here's the Chevy that I had a long time ago. This pic is just 12" suspension and 3" body, and 38.5 Super Swampers. Nothing special done to it. I tore the Chevy all apart and built a tube frame with 4-link and coil-over suspension totaling 32" of lift. I can't find those pics, but here is a pic of the engine that I built for it. Mark IV 454, bored .030, 13.5:1 compression. Steel crank, All MSD ignition, Wiseco .700 dome pistons, closed chamber oval port heads with .015 shaved off with stainless steel valves and all roller crane cams valvetrain. comp cams 290 degree duration cam And, here's the Toyota that I built. That was only 2" suspension and 3" body lift with 35x15" TSL/SX's, on 15x14 rims. That has an ARB air locker in rear, and a Detroit locker in front, with 5.29:1 gears.
  2. I'm with jamebo. I think the stock silver really looks clean. I've always liked that color combo.
  3. Just to let you know, I've clicked on every one of those links and it just brings up MY photobucket homepage. They don't show any of your pics.
  4. Sounds like you may have been got. You didn't pay him, did you?
  5. WHAT? That's a fuckin ripoff. I bought my iRazr 20x11x9's, mounted on ITP ProPolished 9x9 rims for $267.00, from MotoSport. They sell just the tires for $81.99 each. Link below. That guy's charging almost twice the price. I wouldn't shop there. http://www.motosport.com/offroad/product/M...srchHistoryURL= EDIT: Sorry, I just realized you are in Canada.
  6. You gotta click on the download button on that link. They are so big of files, that they take about 15 minutes to load. And that's with high speed cable connection.
  7. Thanks for the compliment. Yea, I would recommend them. I don't have much time on them , so I don't know how they wear. They are a radial, so I imagine they should wear okay.
  8. Is the cable for TORS equipped, or for no TORS?
  9. I have no idea what the stock length is. I have a +6, and I don't have any problems climbing hills. I've climbed some steep ass hills with it, too. The longer swinger gives you a better platform, and when you're going up a hill, it puts alot of weight on it, so it shouldn't spin too much. Are you sure yours is a +6?
  10. I use Motul transmission oil. If I remember correctly, it's a synthetic blend. It seems to run nice and cool, and shifts like a dream. It's a little pricy, but worth it.
  11. I accidentally bought the iRazr's. After riding them, I love them. My sig has my engine mods. After softening up the rear suspension, they really bite good. I still need to get some fronts. I think they're a good buy. Here's some pics.
  12. I bought a few things from ModQuad. I don't have any bitches about their products.
  13. I don't know????? Maybe it would give it the "WRX" look. Then you could lower it and put a hood scoop and a 24" tall tailwing on it. You already got the 6 speed transmission. J/K man.
  14. I have one. Bought it off a Matco truck a few years back. It actually works great. I don't know how good Harbor Freight's is, though. They're for testing purposes only! I'm sure somebody will try to use a couple for the light show effect on their bike. But yeah, it lights up good. You can see the light in the daytime.
  15. That looks like an LED taillight off a tractor trailer. Not a bad idea. I've been looking for an LED light for mine. I think I'm gonna jock your style, Savage.
  16. I'm guessing that they can only be ordered in stock carb size, then. I just e-mailed Toomey, and asked if they are available for 35mm carbs. We'll see what he says, unless one of you guys know. EDIT: Reply from Toomey- No, I am sorry, only for the stock carbs. Thank you from all of us at; Toomey Racing USA, Now, a part of; PowerBrokerz 5050-Wing Way Paso Robles CA 93446 (805) 239-8870 (805) 239-2514 (fax) www.toomey.com [email protected]
  17. 32:1 is what most people mix, with BR8 plugs. Actually, that's what Yamaha calls for. IMO, Yamalube is junk. I have a few quarts of it in my shed. I only use it for my leaf blower and weedeater. I use Maxima SuperM in the Banshee. It's a smokeless synthetic blend. I love it. If you don't know, Maxima is the company that makes Castor927. As far as sucking up water, it doesn't compress. I'm sure that could cause some serious damage to a piston, and if it sucks up enough, it COULD bend rods. In a 4-stroke, water in a cylinder can also bend valves. So, if you ever suck it up again, kill it. Pull the spark plugs, and let it dry out, and dry the filters. That's why I just bought Outerwears for my pods. I don't want this happening.
  18. Yea, I would. I just spent $89 shipped, for 2 new 6" K&N pod filters, with 2 new Outerwears, and a bottle of oil. Those Toomey's look good to me. Alot of people on here have different opinions about filters. The UNI's filter dirt/sand better, but the K&N's make more horsepower. But, you should be good to go if you put Outerwears on the K&N's. I think next time, I'll give those Toomey's a whirl.
  19. I haven't used it, but it looks like it would get rid of my K&N pods rubbing against the exhaust. I just ordered new K&N style filters with Outerwears from FAST, this past Saturday, because of it. They probably won't get here for a few more days. It won't be long before my new ones get a hole rubbed in them. I'll probably buy this one, and see how it works. If you get this filter within the next couple weeks, let us know how it works out. Post some pics, so we can see the looks and clearance of everything. I wonder if redirecting the air downward, instead of straight would make any performance changes.
  20. He has 2 sets. How much you want for the Kenda Gecko's?
  21. I have a set of coil spring compressers. I'll go dig it out tomorrow and take some pics of it. I think I got them from PepBoys, like 10+ years ago. Not the cheesy ones with the little fingers on them, that slip and bust you in the lip. These actually have U-bolts that clamp to the coils, so they don't slip. Don't know if they will work on a Banshee spring, but I don't see why not.
  22. VF3's. Someone on here dyno'd a nasty engine with and without a spacer. I think he got .25hp out of it. And that was with a bad ass engine. Most of what I've seen, is people use them only to make their carbs clear the clutch thing-a-ma-bob on top of the engine. (Sorry, brainfart. Just got home from a long night at work) Somebody help me out, I'm tired.
  23. Here ya go, Streamline's website with a list of part numbers. http://www.streamlinebrakes.com/pages/prod...mp;Brand=Yamaha This is from the website. YZF350 Banshee (ALL) Thumb Throttle Cable Kit (Replaces T.O.R.S with Carb Caps) C101-0351 (*1) Hope that helps.
