It should fit just fine but yes they are about 2 inches narrower then a banshee axle. Blaster guys will buy the banshee axle for a cheap +2 setup on their blasters.

before i went to a single 34pj mine was cgj needles in the middle, 175 mains and 58 pilots at 70 above sea level. was a little rich on the pilots but was great with everything else. Hope that helps man. P.S. im still dicking around with this needle. its pissing me off. runs the same with the eej or the cgj needle. spudders and wont rev up about mid throttle

Im using one of the 34mm's from the dual setup that was on it when i got it. mine starts good and is great till about 1/2 throttle then it starts acting up. if I remove the air filter is helps alot so thats why i think i need to go a little leaner on my needle and if it makes any difference the slide is a #60 -

You can say that again, Im having a hell of a time getting mine dialed in. I have a 34mm pj with a eej needle on top clip, 48 pilot and 175 main. Starts easy and idles nice but with a 185 and 195 main and needle in center clip it would fall on its face so i went back to the 175 main and moved the needle clip to the top and thats the only way i can get it to run somewhat decent. I think I need the next leaner needle? What do you think? -
Anything that is knows about the shee is in my sig. The only reason its knows is because I did it all. I dont think there is any internal mods atleast it appears to have none but I do not know for sure.

I even posted in the right section this time and still no love!

ok here is the video of the current setup. 175 main, 48 pilot, eej needle middle clip. after the video i moved the needle clip to the top position (leanest) and ran liek that for a little bit and it seems to be running great actually so to be honest i have no idea what to do

Ok here it goes. I've recently put a trinity 2 into 1 intake on the shee with a 34mm keihin pj and am having a jetting nightmare. I started my jetting with a 195 main, 45 pilot and eej needle on middle clip. It started a little hard with that setup and tward the top of the revs it fell on its face ( spit and spudder). I changed to a 48 pilot and a 185 main and my starting got much better it pretty close on the bottom end and got much better on top but still not good. i decided to try the 175 main i had from the dual setup with the 48 pilot and eej needle on middle clip and its much better but not perfect. when its warm it will seem to rev up pretty good but not like it should and if you ease the throttle up till full open it has a spot where it will spit and sputter like a dead spot. Im not sure where to go from here. i have a video on you tube of what it sounds like and maybe 1 of you guys can help me. thanks. Ill post a link to the new video when it is done processing on you tube but here is a link to the old video of the original setup Original setup before any jetting. single 34mm keihin pj, 175main, 52 pilot and cgj needle in middle.

Best tire/wheel size for mostly trail riding
Dick Wheels replied to Rocco's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I'm still running stock size tires and gearing on my shee but I have 21x7x10's and 22x11x10's (hole shots) on my 88 LT-250r and the ground clearance is nice. I'm still running stock gearing on that to but I have the power to turn them and its nice to not have to shift all the time and a nice long wind up threw the gears instead of quick shifts. I mostly trail ride myself. Hope that helps a little bit -
+1

Well i got it running right now, just gotta fine tune it a little better but its 100 percent better an driveable now. I had a spare 34mm from the dual setup with a 175 main, 52 pilot and a cgj needle. i took the needle out and put the new eej needle in and if fixed my issues. it starts much better and revs nice threw the rpm range and no bogs or pops. im just ognna pay attention to my plugs and judge which way i need to go from here on out
-
ok well here is a pic of what the plug looks like, i didnt do a plug chop but that was a new plug when i got it running and has maybe 30 minutes on it. it looks like its right on. the center is a nice chocolate and the plug int wet or overly sooted. But once you get the rpms up enough and get into powerband it dosent bog but it will pop and not rev up fully and lose all power like its lean on the top. i just noticed that the plugs are br9es's. I gotta go get some 8's but could that be causing it?

Its definatly not a Vito's Hemi Head. I have one and it looks nothing like that!

is my clutch cover trash?
Dick Wheels replied to atvfreestylekid's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
yes it will effect your shifting. i just had mine all apart and replaced the same part. the screw nut and lockwasher were $11 ordered threw the dealer. it was a pain in the ass because mine broke inside the case and i had the get it out. -
OK finally got the shee up and running and took it for a ride today for the 1st time. It isn't even running right and was able to scare me. I've never ridden one before but i have a LT250r and after riding that shee there is no comparasion. Anyways i did a 2 into 1 conversion and was told to run a 195 main, 45 pilot and eej needle in the middle clip. She is a little hard to get started but once running, runs and idles well. Once you hit powerband about mid throttle she starts to fall on her face and spit and spudder. I tried playing with the needle position and it didnt help at all so Im guessing I should bump up a few sizes on my main??? All the help is greatly appreciated Edit: LOL sorry i did it again. wasnt paying attention to where i posted ::

I just ordered my EEJ's from carb parts. I called RJ 1st and he didnt have any. He said he does not really stock to many needles. He had the CEL's though for you "Dualies"

I haven't had a chance to even ride my shee yet. I bought it and it was a disaster. I put the new carrier on and a new gforce axle. New trinity 2 into 1 intake and 34mm keihin pj and new modded shift star. Right now I have the clutch cover off cause the shifter had like 2 inches of play in it to find there was a broken bolt. Once I get it back together here soon it'll be riding time. I don't see where the spacer will be a problem as long as you use a good bolt and everything it tight so there is no play. Mine came with a spacer but it was 1/4" to long so I made that one. Ill certainly let you know when I get it going if it holds up though. Good luck and your welcome
-
I bought one of the dual bearing carriers myself to find the same issue. Mine came either mounting bolts and spacers though except the spacers were 1/4" to long, LOL. I just made new spacers for about $5 at lowes and its all good. I used a 1" steel spacer with 2 nuts on the end to lock everything down nice and tight and its a 1 1/2" Metric 8x1.25 bolt. Hope that helps you out! Edit: Mine is the RAD Twin Row Carrier

Speaking of, does anyone have any pics of how the shift shaft and stuff is put together? I just pulled mine all apart because there was a ton of play in my shifter to find the adjustment screw was broken off in the case and the lock washer was floating around in the clutch cover and went threw some gears. i also found the kicker idler gear had no clip holdingit on and the washer was also floating around the clutch cover! what a mess
-
lol thats nothing! i should post a pic of my case. The chain went on the previous owner and took everything clean off. It dosent leak and the stator side is all good but took off all the mounts around the sprocket
