It could be an air leak. Check your intake boots for cracks, and check everything that can cause an air leak, you may want to do a leak down test on it.
They should be fine looks like they need to be cleaned and oiled, I would get a set of outwears for them though.
I would say with the filters and pipes your jetting should be around 280 27.5 pilot. Normally 220 is stock.
I would have done the same thing as jason, thats how ppl are on this site. If you don't like it sell your shit on ebay!!!! You being an ass isn't helping with your sell!!
40:1 castor. There are hundreds of posts on this if you do a search. And you jetting sounds way low for a piped banshee. How do you plugs look? Did you mean 310? 220 is stock.
I never heard back from you so i thought you changed your mind. Pm me if your still interested in the cover. I don't want to trade seats shipping will be to much i'll do just the covers if you want to.
I bought a set of domes and orings of Rebel. He sent more orings than a paid for then he sent me a message saying he wasnt sure if some of the orings were the brand they were supposed to be because he found some on his shelf that were marked the brand he told me, and they were in the mail. I got them without even expecting them.
Great guy to deal with!!!!!!!!
No problem bro!!!
I don't think spring will make much of a difference, I would throw them on and up the jets a couple sizes rejeting is pretty simple. If you don't put them on your gonna be staring at them saying "what if" when your racing those other bikes.......lol
You will be lean, wich can burn a hole through your piston. You should rejet!! What is your current jetting?
And the pipes are in the mail. You should have them thursday.
Pull the clutch cover, clutch and basket. Check the shift shaft where it turns the star ive had them mess up on me. You don't need to split the cases unless the problem isnt in the shift shaft.
Stock filter? 220 is stock, I would say go up to around 250's, Ive never heard of a 2.8 pilot, 25 is stock you may be ok on that with stock pilots and only pipes, how does it run, how do your plugs look?
Deffenatly get the aeresol can, its alot easier. I found it at wal-mart but im sure you can get it about anywhere. Sears sells a ploisher already set up it looks like a bench grinder but its made for polishing and it work great.
