  3. Yeah.... Im with you Raptor. I used Spectro for years myself w/ no problems AT ALL..... Im gonna switch back to it next season. I've been using Castrol 927 but I know it isnt as good
  4. Im down..... Its just I cant really understand you reasoning on wanting to get rid of it. If you went to a shorter swingarm it shouldnt make your bike sit lower..... And it definatly shouldnt interfere with your airbox either way. I noticed the guy sellin these "cfm Performance" is a name I recognize from a while back and to keep a long story short hes an asshole. With all that said.... If you have this airbox, and its a quality piece, I'll trade you, and when I say I'll trade you I mean you mail me your box, and when I get it I'll mail you mine.   9. WAY LEAN IS RIGHT!!! If you arent running an airbox lid and are at or around sea level start at a 320 main jet and work your way down if your rich, your gonna toast that motor FAST with 200 mains! If the key is eliminated make sure whatever splice they have is a good connection... solder it maybe if it isnt already. (should be the blackw/white stripe and black wire if its after the key harness plug IE if the key harness is still plugged in) Other than that, if your crossover tube is ok, slides are in correctly (cutout facing airbox) and carbs, pilot jets, are clean.... you should start.... But change those mains before you do anything!

  13. Suspension, suspension, suspension...... You buy all the performance parts for your motor you want but w/o a decent suspension (front end at least) you arent gonna be ANY faster in the woods. I know the places you ride, I've ridden them all, alot. And just another thought, if you dont already have 6 Ply tires....... Spend that money there first :wink: Maybe I'll catch you on Trail 1 @ Tower and roost you and the Predator :biggrin:

In fact when I see you have posted a responce to anything I read it because I usually come away learning something. But More Oil = More Hp? And "all the way up to 16:1? Thats pretty much not alot of oil at all and doesnt seem to fit with what your preaching? Im confused, Im callin typo or something?

  18. I've seen so many lonestar axles bend and even snap I cant even count. I knew a guy who was pro MX back in the 250R days that snapped one on a normal landing and damn near killed him, he broke a rib and it punctured a lung..... Which can happen to anyone with any axle I guess but this guy was sponsored by LS and they dropped him as soon as they got the news.... He protested anyone buying their stuff for a long time. And like I said, other than that, to many axles bent and broke to count and from what I understand they are quick to tell you to fuck off when it comes to replacing them. Also all the guys running 450's I ride with their pressed on sprockets all have excessive play after two rides!! I havent heard anything about their front ends but I have heard/seen enough to stay away from them.... You guys can kick a goal though, just figured I'd give you a heads up. :shrug:

  20. If your @ or a little above sea level 310's seem lean... but I think one of your carbs mains sounds like its clogged if the pipe is getting extremely hot. Pull the bowl off and check that out.
