    when i orginal was going to get mine shaved i was told that 0.020 would be about a 20cc cool head dome. I am at 130 psi at sea level with a mild ported engine with head cut 0.020. Wish i was around 140 lol

    i got mine milled and if i were to do it again i would go 0.030 or 0.040. I got mine cut 0.020 and there wasnt much of a difference compared to stock, but then again i got mine ported and i guess that lowers your compression a little. Other than that its as reliable as stock if your worried about reliabilty

    here is a pic, the purple doesnt touch the actual bearing so i dont think the bearing is what was putting off the heat. That side got toasted by the previous owner

    i have some light purple coloring on my crank by where the lower connecting rod bearing is, its not on the conecting rod its on the counter weight or w/e it is on the crank. it got hot but its not purple around the bearing and the bearing is still tight and smooth...i think it ran to lean which blew the same piston...should the bearing be fine? thanks

    they dont hold their value because the economy gargles my balls and no one has the cash to buy them i guess. Shit man i remember a year ago or so when all 450's were like $5500 now you get them for $3500. Just remember when you put a piss load of money into your shee your not going to make it back. Just the way it is
